This four-star property sits in Camden but calls itself Farringdon, which initially threw me off until I realized it’s perfectly positioned between both areas. The building itself is this converted Victorian structure that’s been given a serious modern makeover, and you can feel the energy the moment you step inside.

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re technically in Camden, but you get the best of several worlds. King’s Cross is literally a ten-minute walk, which means you’ve got the Eurostar and every major train line at your fingertips. But the real magic happens when you wander toward Camden Market or duck into one of the proper pubs tucked away on the quieter residential streets. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the buzz of Camden Lock on weekends, but far enough away that you’ll actually sleep at night.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this industrial-meets-cozy vibe that somehow worked perfectly. Exposed brick walls, but with soft lighting that made everything feel warm rather than cold.
