Each room has its own personality, and honestly, the master bedroom gets lovely morning light that streams through those big warehouse windows. The second bedroom works perfectly for kids or friends, though it’s a bit snug if you’re talking about two adults.

Location & Neighborhood

Southampton Way in London puts you right in the heart of Camberwell, and I mean that’s actually brilliant if you want to experience real London rather than tourist London. You’ve got the excellent Camberwell Arms just around the corner — proper gastropub with locals who’ve been going there for years. The area’s got this creative energy with galleries and independent shops, plus you’re walking distance to Burgess Park when you need some green space.

Getting Around

Here’s what I wish someone had told me — Denmark Hill station is about a 10-minute walk, and from there you can get to London Bridge in under 15 minutes. The bus connections are actually fantastic too, with several routes running along Southampton Way that’ll get you to central London or over to Brixton. There’s no parking included, but street parking isn’t impossible if you’re driving, though honestly you won’t need a car here.

"Great, spacious place"
Location was good, easy to use public transport. Communication with owner was excellent, we received clear instructions to find the flat and keys, also the owner was kind and let us store our luggage before check-in time. The appartment really great, we enjoyed how clean, well maintaned it was! Two bedrooms, big living area, amazing kitchen and shower and bath- all was great! I highly appreciated good heating, which isually is big issue, but here was perfect! There were lot of basic products (like oil, sugar, coffee etc) in the kitchen and also in bathroom (shower gel, shampoo etc), so even if you are staying for short time you don’t have to bring all with you (like I did, because usually there is nothing more than salt). I think owner has thought about all small things, which is great! I didn’t put 10 as we had some small missunderstanding but it was resolved by owner in 5minutes, so I highly reccommend this place and will come back:)
What could be improved: Spiral case stairs, but in general it was just small thing. Could be issue for someone older.

La superficie du logement bien supérieure à ce que nous avons vu sur d'autres propositions. La propreté des lieux, le chauffage en route et les lits faits pour notre arrivée, la facilité d'accès, les informations et la disponibilité de l'hôte, une salle de bain très complète, la tranquillité du quartier, l'arrêt de bus à moins de 10 minutes qui dessert directement la plupart des quartiers touristiques de Londres. La présence de condiments dans la cuisine.
What could be improved: Le WiFi très peu performant et très instable. La vaisselle qui n'était pas propre. L'équipement de la cuisine (assiettes en plastique, pas de grosse casserole ni de passoire, plaque de cuisson peu performante).
