Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Stylish light-filled 1 Bedroom Flat In Hammersmith, the first thing that hits you is just how bright everything feels. The windows are massive — I mean, properly massive — and they flood the entire space with natural light throughout the day. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel more awake, you know? The design is clean and modern without being cold, which honestly can be tricky to pull off in London flats.
The Space Itself
This four-star apartment really makes the most of every square foot. The bedroom is separate from the living area, which might sound obvious but trust me — after staying in too many studio spaces, having an actual door between your bed and your morning coffee feels like a small luxury. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. I actually cooked a decent meal here, which says something about the setup.
Location & Getting Around
You’re right in Hammersmith, which puts you in this sweet spot between central London chaos and residential calm. The Hammersmith tube station is close enough that you don’t need to plan extra travel time, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant noise. What I really appreciated was being able to walk along the Thames — there’s this lovely stretch where you can actually forget you’re in a massive city for a few minutes.
Why It Works for Travelers
The thing about this place is that it feels like staying at a friend’s flat rather than a typical hotel room. You’ve got space to spread out, proper storage for your stuff, and the freedom to grab groceries and make breakfast without hunting for a nearby café. The wifi is solid (I had video calls without issues), and the whole setup just works for both short stays and longer visits. Plus, the 9.2 rating really shows — small details like good lighting, comfortable seating, and a shower with actual water pressure make all the difference.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, it’s the combination of space, light, and location that makes this place special. You get the independence of having your own place without sacrificing the convenience of being well-connected to everything London offers. Whether you’re here for business or just exploring the city, having this bright, comfortable base to return to each day makes the whole trip better. It’s not flashy or over-the-top — just a really well-thought-out space that actually works for how people travel.

"I loved this apartment! It is expensive but I really enjoyed my stay!"
Beautiful, light filled apartment. View over the chimney tops of King Street. Very comfortable with all the facilities I needed.
The guest support team answered emails and phone calls out of hours and were very warm and engaging.
What could be improved: No facility for recycling waste. Hairdryer was missing when I arrived. It took a while to get that sorted (over 24 hours).
Very steep stairs, narrow that would not suit everyone.

"Great property once in, not a fan of the checkin process."
Didn’t like the Houst checkin process. Mandatory questions about the purpose of your stay, and took too long / multiple forms and id checks. But the property itself once in was great and one of the best Ive stayed in.

"Excellent location, very well equipped, friendly owners."
The location is very good, close to underground and bus, shops, markets and restaurants.
What could be improved: The sofa were our son slept wasn’t to comfortable and for 6 nights a inconfortabile bed counts.

"Convenient location for family"
Property is conveniently located short walk to both Ravenscourt Park and Hammersmith tube stations. Perfect for us to commute everywhere we wanted to go.
It is on the main drag, with plenty of choices for dining, and supermarkets nearby. Owners have prepared a guest compendium with some dining recommendations and helpful property information.
Others have referenced noise as an issue. We are from a small country town in Australia, we have no street lights and it is quiet at night (we can hear the train crossing 6kms away if you are awake at 4am). With the blinds drawn at night and triple glazed windows closed this sufficiently blocked any noise for us to sleep comfortably. We left windows open during the day to air the property and found it to be comfortable and meet all our needs (1 adult, and a 15yo & 12yo).
We welcomed the dishwasher and washing machine after being ‘on the road’ for 7 weeks before arriving in London. Overall it was a comfortable property and I would both recommend and stay here again.
What could be improved: Two minor suggestions which DO NOT DETRACT FROM GUEST COMFORT
1. Keys seem to be an issue, however steps have been taken to address. The instructions regarding keys to the property in the ‘owners notes’ in Booking.com contradict the instructions sent to us by the management company. We were looking for a grey key… After cross referencing sources we realised information has been updated (with helpful pictures) but not in all sections. The next morning we saw there are small colour markers on the locks to assist with key identification for each lock.
As a side note, the owners instructions are very strong about ensuring to lock all locks, with penalty of £50 at the time of our stay if you failed to comply on exit, which left an impression we were in an unsafe area? While we followed instructions, we did not feel unsafe by any means, and maybe this is a country/city thing?
2. Other guests have noted the property has a washing machine but no clothes horse/drying rack. We used the heated towel rail in the bathroom as suggested, but for the cost of a clothes horse/drying rack from IKEA down the road, seems like a small investment for guest comfort.

"Cosy family visit"
I've booked this property for my family that was visiting me and it was amazing, very glad they had somewhere cosy to stay considering they're people that is not used to travel. 4 adults fit well for a long weekend.
Property and quality as described in the photos
Good quality of linen and towels.
Kitchen had all essentials.
Surprisingly quiet to be located on a high street, but it's true it was cold and rainy and we didnt open the window.
The information to access the property was very well described
Location is unbeatable
What could be improved: A bit tiring/complicated to access the second floor as stairs are narrow if you have mobility issues
