First Impressions
Walking up to Stylish Apartment Opposite Westfields, you know exactly what you’re getting — and honestly, that’s refreshing. This three-star place doesn’t try to be something it isn’t, but what it does offer is surprisingly well thought out. The building sits right across from one of London’s biggest shopping centers, which means you’re basically living in the thick of things without paying Mayfair prices.
Location & Shopping Heaven
I mean, when they say “opposite Westfields,” they’re not kidding around. You can literally see the shopping center from your window, and honestly, that’s either going to be your dream or your nightmare depending on how you feel about retail therapy. The Holland Road location puts you in proper West London territory — not quite central, but the transport links are solid. You’ve got the Central and Circle lines at Shepherd’s Bush, plus all those buses that’ll get you into town in about 20 minutes.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works well for what it is. You get a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and prayers), which actually makes a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The room feels more like a studio flat than a hotel space, and there’s something nice about having that bit of independence. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything functions the way it should, and the bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the night plotting revenge against whoever chose the mattress.
Practical Perks
What I liked most was how genuinely useful everything felt. The kitchen actually has enough counter space to make breakfast without performing gymnastics, and there’s decent storage if you’re the type who unpacks properly. The Wi-Fi works without you having to sacrifice a goat to the internet gods, and the shower has proper water pressure — you know, those little things that can make or break a stay. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but they’ve got options sorted if you need them.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be the place you Instagram every corner of, but it delivers on the basics really well. You’re paying for location and functionality, and both boxes get ticked properly. The Westfields access means you can grab groceries, catch a movie, or do serious shopping damage without even crossing a street. Plus, you’re close enough to Notting Hill and Kensington that the posher bits of London are just a quick tube ride away. It’s one of those stays where you realize that sometimes getting exactly what you need is better than getting fancy touches you don’t actually use.

"Good"
Location was good, about 5 mins walk to Shepherd's Bush station. W12 and Westfield mall is nearby so lots of shopping can be done. Easy to find halal food around the area as well. Host is very prompt in responding to issues and queries, so communication is easy.
Amenities of the apartment were commendable (washing machine, sufficient electrical outlets, sofa bed, dishwasher, working heater, dryer).
What could be improved: I stayed at Stylish Apartment Opposite Westfields for 6 nights. My stay was slightly marred by some housekeeping hiccups. However, I must acknowledge the prompt service recovery that followed.
My family and I came in early to drop our luggage at 11am due to our early flight – we actually landed at about 8 but did inform the host that we will come early to drop our luggage at around 11 and will leave thereafter to allow the cleaners to do the necessary. When we entered the house at 11am, it was a mess (as expected) because the previous guests just left. We were told that the cleaners will come within the next 30mins to clean the apartment and that once they were done, we can come back. At about 2pm I was informed that the cleaners will be done by 3pm (so we stayed out till then) but upon entering the apt at 3pm (which was the actual check in time), the apartment was NOT cleaned at all. I was flabbergasted because at this point we really just needed the apartment to crash in and sleep (16hours flight with 3 tired kids). I brought these concerns to the host’s attention, and Cali (host) was shocked because clearly the cleaning company had lied to her saying there were on property.
At about 3.30pm, 2 ladies came and when I realised they were thecleaners, I asked why they were not at the apt earlier – they started speaking in a different language altogether and then in English told me that they got the wrong apartment and wanted to leave(!!??). I stopped them and called Cali to confirm they were her cleaners (which they were) and I asked they clean the apt straightaway. At this point my family were already sprawled in the living area, sleeping, so I vacuumed the living area myself when they were gone.
Cali was very apologetic throughout the whole ordeal and went above and beyond to make amends for the inconvenience and has offered a discount off my stay. Her genuine efforts are really appreciated.

"Very comfortable and easy access to Tube"
Great spacious apartment, perfect for a family or friends.
What could be improved: Very Hot apartment although we were experiencing a heat wave so couldn’t be helped.

Excellent location, five minutes or less walking distance from underground and Westfield shopping centre
What could be improved: the flat was a little bit dusty, and more vacuum cleaning was required
No shower gel or handsoap, and dispensers were almost empty
The shower drain was partially blocked

"Not bad but could be improved."
Great location close to Sheperds Bush and Holland Park. Felt safe and secure. Managers were good on communication and helpful.
What could be improved: The pictures of the flat looked better than the flat itself. It has been decorated at some point recently but in a very superficial way. Carpets were in need of replacement. Shower room was more modern and clean but unfortunately the shower drain was blocked - we contacted the managers who were very helpful and arranged to send someone round but we managed to fix the shower drain ourselves - it was clogged with hair as had not been cleaned for some time. The carpets also need a good hoovering and as said probably replacing.

"Location great, beds too uncomfortable. Blood stained towels unacceptable. Would not recommend."
The neighborhood and exterior of the house are great. Bathroom, kitchen and decoration also great. It's exactly like the pictures. The host was very helpful and quick to respond through the Booking chat when our wifi didn't work.
What could be improved: You can tell they renovated only for the eye (floors uneven, superficial paintjobs etc). But that's okay. But what really was a disappointment is the furniture and mattresses. They are very uncomfortable. And we are not people that complain easily. The sofa's are so sagging, that you really can't sit comfortabele on them.
The mattresses on both beds are too soft but also sagging A LOT. Especially when you lie with two persons, you both end up in the middle. You just don't get a good night sleep.
Plenty of towels, good size also, unfortunately have of them had stains and also some big blood stains, like when you are on your period. Unfortunately, when I informed them about the blood stained towels and uncomfortable mattresses, unlike the assistance with the wifi they never responded.

"Quick City Break: Enjoying London in the Summer"
I really like the location, and the apartment itself is very comfortable. It’s close to the Central line metro and bus station, making it easy to move around central London. Buses are also conveniently nearby for trips to Westminster, Kensington, Notting Hill, Oxford Street, and the gardens at Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, or Holland Park. Additionally, you’re not far from Paddington or Baker Street.
The apartment comes with all the essentials: sheets, towels, toilet paper, and amenities. There’s also a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped.
The contact staff were very friendly, accessible, and always attentive to our questions.
What could be improved: What I would improve is the cleanliness of the carpets. While the rest of the apartment is very clean, carpets can be a source of dust mites, as can the blankets provided. If we had a vacuum cleaner available, we could quickly go over them ourselves.
