Honestly, Stunning House 15 min from Wembley arena caught me off guard in the best possible way. This unique boutique hotel sits on a quiet residential street in Dollis Hill, and I’ll admit — it doesn’t look like much from the outside. But step inside, and you realize someone put real thought into creating something different here.
The Neighborhood Reality
Let me be straight with you about the location — Dollis Hill isn’t exactly central London, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re in a proper residential area where locals go about their daily lives, complete with corner shops and tree-lined streets. The tube station is about a 10-minute walk, and from there you’re genuinely 15 minutes to Wembley (I timed it). What surprised me was how quickly you can get to central London — Baker Street is only about 25 minutes away on the Jubilee line.
Inside the House
The whole place feels more like staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home than a traditional hotel. Each room has its own character, and honestly, the attention to detail impressed me. The furnishings aren’t trying too hard to be trendy — they just work well together. You know what I appreciated most? The little touches like proper reading lights and enough power outlets where you actually need them.
Practical Considerations
There’s no fancy restaurant or room service here — this isn’t that kind of place. But each unit comes with a compact kitchenette that’s actually functional, not just for show. The local area has everything you need within walking distance, including a decent Indian takeaway and a Tesco Express. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s street parking only, but the hosts are pretty helpful with tips on where to find spots.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you’re expecting hotel amenities like a concierge or daily housekeeping, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want somewhere that feels authentic and gives you space to actually live a bit while you’re in London, it works brilliantly. The value is solid too — you’re getting a lot more space and character than most London hotels offer at this price point. Plus, being able to pop back easily between Wembley events makes it perfect for anyone catching shows or matches at the arena.

"Warm, friendly, inspiring house with lots of sunshine"
The house is kind of positive and supportive. It’s warm, with lots of sunshine and friendliness. It has positive energy and beautiful vibes, modern upgrades and uplifting energy. So my total stay there prolonged, to almost three months. Regardless they only rent for a weekend or maximum a week. Otherwise it’s inspiring and lively.
What could be improved: I didn’t like a massive leaked brown stain at the kitchen, at the ceiling, where every short term guest was wondering if I am the cause. It has mostly Islamic neighbourhood. The cleaners didn’t like me much either, but the house was generally clean. The bad side, I was Universal credits user, but the house was found too comfortable for taxes abuser, so I’d rather recommend it for private rent only. Also I was renting the smallest room, and I am claustrophobic, which was very difficult for me to adjust as a long term rent. Moreover, during my stay I had an injury, caused by job center and their agresivity, for not allowing perfect. As a result I was asked to leave, without allowance to extend. While being told I given the house maintenance team, bad references during my stay, and specifically I wasn’t even wished a farewell and sooner recovery with my injury. On top of all, Harlesden Job Center referred me to Homeless shelter for housing assistance, instead of given support, as a result I was put completely off the housing allowance via Booking.com!

House was clean, tea and coffee facilities in the communal kitchen, room was a god size even with 3 single beds, simple self check in as well. Oh and the bed was comfortable
What could be improved: Maybe a small TV in the room and a mirror

Location was great for Wembley Stadium. Clean.
What could be improved: Beds were not the comfortable. Pillows were thin and cheap.

"value for money is the key 😊"
The room smelled amazing and was very clean and comfortable in terms of hygiene. The public transportation was relatively clear and convenient.
What could be improved: A nice advantage was that we had the apartment to ourselves most of the time, but one evening, a very large family arrived, and it felt overcrowded-especially considering there was only one bathroom. Also, while public transportation was convenient, the apartment was about an hour away from central London.

"Great Wembley Location, clean shared house."
Easy self check in, able to park nearby for free, nice area, 15 minute walk to tube station which is 1 stop away from Wembley. Clean 3 bed room, clean shared shower room. Shared kitchen with ability to use fridge, kettle, tea/coffee. Nice to have access to back garden to sit in the sun.
What could be improved: 1 shower room shared between 5 groups, which could be busy/awkward if the house was fully booked. Tea/coffee could be better quality. Expensive for a single room with shared facilities but likely just due to the event at Wembley

"Clean, good location, great for a bed for the night."
Clean rooms and not too far from the stadium.
It had a kitchen but we did not use this.
What could be improved: Only 1 key between 2 rooms, someone had put the chain latch on the main door when we came back so had to knock loud to wake them up so we could go to sleep.

Clean and tidy. Comfy bed
What could be improved: The lock on our room got stuck. So when coming in after our concert at Wembley stadium we were trapped in the hall for 20 minutes
