Here’s the thing about staying in Brixton — it’s got character that you won’t find in tourist-heavy areas like Covent Garden or Kensington. The local market is a five-minute walk, and I mean the real deal where locals actually shop, not some sanitized tourist trap. You’ll hear reggae drifting from record shops, smell incredible Caribbean food, and actually feel like you’re experiencing London rather than just visiting it.

The garden was probably my favorite bit, especially during those surprisingly warm London afternoons. It’s not massive, but it’s private enough that you can sit outside with your morning coffee without feeling like you’re on display. I actually ended up working from the little outdoor table more than once — the wifi reaches fine, and it beats being cooped up inside. "Excellent stay, would stay again."
Close to subway and high street shops. Comfortable bedrooms. Tea and coffee provided. Full equipped kitchen.
What could be improved: Five adults so we could have done with more toilet rolls. Maybe one decent size bottle of shower gel and shampoo rather than few hotel size little ones.

"Great location and accommodation for a Group"
The house was within 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and very close to a range of restaurants and shops. There is a backyard with comfortable seating and we were visited by a squirrel which was lovely. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome as we had been travelling for a couple of weeks when we arrived. The bedrooms were a good size and the property worked very well for our family of five adults. The property had good provisions including tea, coffee, sugar, washing powder, etc. The property management team were extremely responsive and helpful.

Good location very easy walk to brixton station. 4 bedrooms so plenty room for people to sleep.
What could be improved: The house could have been cleaned adequately. The lights upstairs kept turning on and no blind for the roof window in one bedroom. Only one bathroom.

I loved all the different zones: the living room, the seating area, and the backyard. All great!
What could be improved: The kitchen was tight and it was difficult to use the oven as all the important signs like temperature and setting had rubbed off so we kept burning or undercooking our food

"Home Away From Home - Literally"
The property looks EXACTLY like the pics shown- we loved that as it meant we were really getting what we payed for- it has a nice homely feel to it- spacious but cozy and the decor is nice! The bathroom was cozy and big- the sofa bed was AMAZING - everyone could sit n enjoy the tv together and have a proper good time The kitchen was beautiful- plenty of cutlery provided All in all we were in love with the house The host was very helpful - in the days leading up to the trip and during our stay.
What could be improved: There was nothing that we didn’t like to be honest. There were little things that we noticed but nothing major - only things that would stand out based on ur personal preference- like the way the bed moves or the step for the bath. But those things were minor and had no effect on our stay.
