Honestly, the location in London’s Docklands grows on you. Sure, it’s not Covent Garden, but you’re literally minutes from ExCel London, which is brilliant if you’re here for events or conferences. The area has this interesting mix of shiny new developments and remnants of London’s maritime past. You can actually walk along the Thames Path and catch some decent views — something I wasn’t expecting when I first arrived.
