Spacious and chic flat in Angel sits right on City Road, and honestly, the location caught my attention before anything else. This apartment feels more like a stylish friend’s place than typical tourist accommodation — you know, the kind where you actually want to hang out rather than just crash for the night. The building itself has that modern London vibe without being flashy about it.
The Space Itself
Walking into this four-star flat, I was genuinely surprised by how much room there actually is. The living area flows naturally into the kitchen, and I mean, you could actually cook here if you wanted to — not just reheat takeaway. The design strikes this nice balance between contemporary and comfortable, with clean lines but enough personality that it doesn’t feel sterile. The bedroom continues the theme with quality furnishings that look good but don’t make you afraid to actually use them.
Location & Neighborhood
Angel is one of those areas that locals love but tourists often miss, and that works in your favor here. You’re close enough to central London that nothing feels out of reach, but far enough from the chaos to actually relax. The Tube connections are solid — Angel station is walkable, and from there you can get pretty much anywhere without the hassle of multiple transfers. Plus, there’s this great mix of proper pubs and interesting restaurants scattered around the neighborhood.
What Makes It Work
The thing about staying in an apartment versus a traditional hotel is that you get to live like you actually belong here for a few days. Having space to spread out, a proper fridge, and the option to make coffee exactly how you like it — these details matter more than you’d think. The area around Islington has character too; you’ll find yourself walking past Victorian terraces and stumbling onto streets that feel authentically London rather than tourist-London.

"Very good"
The accommodation was extremely spacious and very comfortable with all amenities and facilities provided including washing machine, tumble dryer, pantry staples, multiple fridges. The location was excellent and check in and out was easy.
What could be improved: There are quite a few flight of stairs to go up but this is common in London. The shower is also extremely small but is manageable.

Green scenery, very clean, spacious place for everyone and also for luggages, modern decoration
What could be improved: Not being able to open the windows at the living room, the contact staff isn't aware of the property utility and offeringa clearly, why dont they warm up the house a little bit, and they try to charge every tiny need even an extra bed sheet or blanket, they dont try to help :( though we were very quiet adult group it was so rude to be warned by a neighbour downstairs, I think that neighbour shouldn't live in an old english house for sure; propperty is typical old english house and very nice except the neighbour

"Great place for family"
The place is spacious and clean and near to Bus Stops. Great place for big family.
What could be improved: We couldn’t check-in until 7PM but they held our luggage for us, and we had to come back at 7PM. Whereas upon checkout they asked us to leave sharp 10AM even after asking them many times to extend couple of hours we were only given 1 hour extension.

"Lovely to be in a "normal" apartment in a very interesting neighborhood."
The neighborhood was close to the City Center but charming with trees in the yard and near canals. Arrangement on two floors with two baths one per floor meant a lot of privacy for me and my daughter and son in law. It was quiet despite being on a main street. Was able to take tube to where my workshop was held in the City center. Angel stop was ab out 4 blocks away.
What could be improved: Hard to manage baggage up steep stairs but the host helped us when we arrived. When we left we could have used similar help.

"Great stay close to Angel station"
Really nice and well equipped apartment, spacious as well, we are all very happy with it! We booked it literally on the day and the communication for check-in was amazingly efficient and smooth (we changed the check-in time several times because of changing plan).
What could be improved: The only downside of this apartment was the heating in the single room was always fully on, there was no way to turn it off except turning off the boiler (meaning no heating for the whole apartment). The person stayed in the single room turned out had to bear with the extremely hot room and the loud noises from the boiler.

Lots of space. Easy reach of public transport. Good communication with Atildo company.
What could be improved: Showers small and a little temperamental either too hot or cold.

"The flat is well presented and in a great area. We had a good stay."
The apartment was appointed well and comfortable. It was in a good location.
What could be improved: Checking in was bad. The code provided was incorrect. Also the lock box is actually on a neighbouring property and we were not told that the location of the box was next door.
The flat is a sectioned off area of someone's home. The front door to the flat is an internal door with a tiny lock. There is a gap under the door. It is not the sort of solid door with security locks in a normal apartment building. Often we would see the other resident moving between rooms of their house in the foyer of the 'building'.
The stairs are steep and narrow and difficult to move bags through.

"Enjoyable family stay in Angel"
Relative quietness in the flat and around. Confortable beds. 2 spacious double bedrooms. Back bedrooms "view" to trees giving some privacy. The 3 small ensuite shower rooms.
What could be improved: Not really bright living room, with dirty windows that couldn't be opened. Warm bedrooms in attic, where windows couldn't comfortably be left open at night (noise and safety). Sitting area could be improved. Dinning table with akwards legs, wouldn't sit 6 people comfortably. Boiler in small bedroom being noisy.
