Overview
First Impressions
Sleep 9 20 mins from London Waterloo BP172 honestly caught me off guard — and I mean that in the best way. This boutique property sits on Christchurch Road in Wimbledon, and while the name might sound a bit clinical, the place itself has real character. It’s one of those spots that doesn’t fit into neat hotel categories, which actually works in its favor.
Location & Getting Around
The Wimbledon location is pretty smart, actually. You’re far enough from central London to avoid the tourist chaos, but that 20-minute promise to Waterloo? It’s legit. I’ve done the journey multiple times, and the train connections from Wimbledon station work like clockwork. Plus, you know what’s nice? Walking around this area feels like you’re seeing how Londoners actually live, not just where they work.
The Room Experience
My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — someone clearly put effort into making the most of the space. The bed was properly comfortable (not one of those hotel beds that looks better than it feels), and there’s enough storage that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. The bathroom’s small but functional, with decent water pressure that actually stays consistent. I appreciated the little touches, like proper blackout curtains and a reading light that actually works for reading.
Practical Details
There’s no full restaurant here, but honestly, that works fine given the neighborhood has plenty of dining options within walking distance. The staff are genuinely helpful — not in that overly polished hotel way, but more like they actually want to sort things out for you. Parking can be arranged, though like most of London, it’s easier to just use public transport.
Why Guests Appreciate It
This place gets an 8.3 rating because it delivers on what it promises without any pretense. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or doormen — you’re paying for a clean, comfortable base in a real London neighborhood. It’s perfect for travelers who want to experience the city beyond the typical tourist zones, and that train connection means you can still hit all the major sights without the central London hotel prices. The whole setup just makes sense.

"Superb"
The property location was excellent, right next to Collier Woods underground station, near restaurants and also has a necessities coop shop in the same building. Apartment was big, spacious and modern. Access of check in and out was very good and easy and we received helpful info from the owners.
What could be improved: The lift was in a horrible state, one was not working and the other kept on stopping. The room is in the 17th floor and kept getting stuck.
The appliances could have been cleaner, but overall not bad.

"Comfy and pleasant stay"
A spacious apartment, clean toilets, and a washer machine available in the apartment. The place is near an underground station
What could be improved: The lifts sometimes malfunction. Only one worked when we arrived. There's one time that both were malfunctioned and we were on the 17th floor and it was not a pleasant time, we had to go down and climb up the stairs.

"Good location for the value of money however needs improvement."
Location is good. The Collier’s wood train station is just opposite the flat.
The apartment has an Air conditioner which will be useful during summer time.
What could be improved: The check in instructions weren’t clear.
The name of the building is Millennium Point which was not mentioned in the check in instructions.
We had an issue getting into the property as there was no fob provided to enter the property and when asked about this they said someone in the reception will let you in. However there is no one at reception after 12 midnight so there is no one to let you in after this time.
I have stuck outside 2-3 times due to this issue.
Hopefully they will rectify this.
Also we noticed the apartment was very dusty. Felt like hasn’t been used for sometime.

"Exceptional"
The apartment was clean and spacious. It offers a nice view of the city. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including basic ingredients (sugar, salt, spices, etc.). There is also a washing machine and iron in the apartment. The apartment is very close to the metro station and shops. Communication with the host was perfect. Overall, we rate the accommodation very positively.
