Lovely 3bedroom Apartment London sits on a quiet residential street in Hackney that honestly feels more like a local neighborhood than tourist central — which I actually love. The building itself is typical East London Victorian, red brick and charming in that slightly weathered way. You know what struck me first? How genuinely peaceful Mayola Road is, considering you’re still very much in London.
The Space
This is essentially a proper three-bedroom apartment that’s been set up for travelers, and the layout actually works really well. Each room has decent natural light, which can be tricky to find in London rentals, and there’s enough space that you’re not constantly bumping into each other. The kitchen is fully equipped — I mean properly equipped, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get in these places.
Location & Getting Around
Hackney gets a bit of a rough reputation, but this particular area is quite safe and has that authentic London feel without the tourist crowds. You’re about a 15-minute walk to Clapton Station, which connects you to the Overground network — honestly one of the most useful train lines for getting around East London. The canal towpath is nearby too, perfect for morning walks or cycling if that’s your thing.
Local Neighborhood
What I really appreciated was how residential this feels. There’s a proper community vibe here — you’ll see families heading to school, people walking dogs, the kind of everyday London life you don’t get in Zone 1. The nearest shops are about a 10-minute walk, including a decent Tesco Express and some local cafes that actually know how to make coffee. Mare Street, with its restaurants and pubs, is easily walkable when you want more dining options.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place isn’t trying to be fancy — there’s no star rating system that really applies here since it’s more of a residential setup than a traditional hotel. But that’s exactly what makes it work for certain travelers. You get proper space, a real sense of living in London rather than just visiting, and honestly, much better value than cramped hotel rooms in central areas. It’s perfect if you’re planning a longer stay or traveling with family who needs room to spread out.

"Very pleasant - exceeded my expectations!"
This appartment was very spacious with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a bath!) The overall cleanliness was good. The property manager popped by to make sure everything was okay. It's obvious that the owners have taken on board the negative comments. The flat has been recently redecorated. There are cooking untensils in the drawer and there was plenty of hot water. Huge TV. Large living room with modern open plan kitchen and a dining table with 5 chairs. The location is really quiet but only 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Hackney.
What could be improved: The overall cleanliness was good but a little more attention is needed in the cupboard and drawers under the kitchen. counter and the shower curtain in the downstairs could with a wash. I'm being very picky so don't let that put you off.

"I would like to give 5 stars as it has great potential, but :)"
Lovely traditional flat in traditional house, calm neighborhood, not so far from the center. The distance from the Hackney Central is cca 10-12 min (walk), but several bus lines are really close (6 mins walk) and various lines go to Victoria, Piccadilly, Barbican, City... The kitchen allows full cooking, large fridge allows storing enough food for family breakfasts and dinners, there is TV, one bathroom, two kids rooms, one master bedroom.
What could be improved: Unfortunatelly, the hot water was out of order from the first day, and we managed to fix it after three days, just a day before our way home. I would appreciate faster reaction, faster replies, we spent a lot of time just waiting for the answer of the owner. Thanks God it was summer, warm weather, so it was OK for us to take fast shower in cold water. I would also highly recommend to buy 5th chair and 5th tea cup, as it is offered as a flat for 5 people, but there are just 4 pieces of any equipment - we could solve it, but it is pointless. I am sorry. In general, it could be great.

"Pleasant"
The location of the property was in a quiet neighborhood and the walking distance to public transportation was good. Having three bedrooms was wonderful!
What could be improved: When we first arrived, we were really disappointed in the unit. The kitchen and bathroom were not clean, and the kitchen was poorly stocked for cooking. There were no cooking utensils, oven safe pans, or serving bowls or plates. Silverware was very limited. There were only 2 big glasses and 2 small glasses.
In addition, there was no mention of all the steps to get to the apartment.
However, as I was able to clean the apartment and purchase minimal cooking supplies, we were able to make the apartment work.

"Ruhig und doch alles gut erreichbar!"
Im Sommer absolut ruhig (Clapton Girls Academy hat Ferien) und doch nicht weit von Supermärkten und Hackney Central. Bequeme Betten. Man kann kochen.
What could be improved: Ein 5. Stuhl für den Esstisch wäre gut. Auch Teller und Besteck und Küchenausstattung sind eher knapp. Adapter für die Steckdosen nicht vergessen, wenn man vom Festland kommt! (Es gibt sie ab £5.)

"Pleasant"
Obiekt ma całkiem korzystną cenę jak na standardy Londynu. Do centrum da się dojechać w około 30-40min korzystając z metra lub autobusu.
W domku było czysto jeśli chodzi o bieżące porządki, jednak widać, że gruntownie nikt go nie sprzątał od jakiegoś czasu (brudne okna, całkowicie zakurzone wywietrzniki)
What could be improved: Bardzo słaba obsługa. Gospodarz bardzo słabo mówi po angielsku i ciężko było mu wytłumaczyć, że dla 5 osób potrzebujemy 5 kołder/kocy i 3 to dla nas za mało. Powiedział, że zobaczy, co się da zrobić, po czym więcej się nie odezwał. Jeden ze znajomych spał pod poszewką kołdry innego.
Łóżka w obiekcie są 3 - dwa dwuosobowe i jedynka, oraz pokój z dwiema kanapami, ale kołdry są tylko 3, więc jeśli mają tam spać znajomi, a nie pary to może być nie komfortowo.

"Apartamento confortable en un barrio muy agradable"
El apartamento está en un barrio muy agradable y tranquilo.
El interior está muy bien, es amplio y todo está muy nuevo y ¡las camas son súper confortables!
What could be improved: Está un poco lejos del centro (hay que coger dos metros y caminar unos 10-15 minutos), aunque el paseo es muy agradable.
La cocina está poco equipada si tienes previsto cocinar en casa.
Solo hay una mesa con cuatro sillas, y nosotros éramos cinco :-( (si ofrecen 5 plazas, habría que prever 5 de todo...)

What could be improved: Il responsabile non rispondeva subito e a volte mai alle domande fatte su Booking e lo abbiamo dovuto chiamare al telefono. L'appartamento è per cinque persone ma sedie, bicchieri e posate erano per quattro persone.
