This isn’t your typical hotel room experience — it’s actually a proper studio setup that gives you breathing space. The apartment has this open-plan layout that works really well, with high ceilings that make everything feel bigger than it probably is. What I appreciated most was the fully equipped kitchen area; you know how rare it is to find a decent setup where you can actually cook something beyond instant noodles? The appliances are modern, and there’s enough counter space to prep a proper meal.
Location & Neighborhood
Being on Kingsland Road means you’re in the thick of things without the chaos of Old Street roundabout. Boxpark is literally a five-minute walk, and you’ve got all those trendy coffee shops and vintage stores scattered around. I mean, you can walk to Brick Lane in about ten minutes, which is perfect for weekend market browsing. The transport links are solid too — Old Street station isn’t far, and there are plenty of bus routes that’ll get you into central London quickly.
Practical Considerations
One thing that struck me was how quiet it actually gets at night, despite being on a main road. The windows do a decent job of blocking out the traffic noise. The building has secure entry, which is reassuring when you’re staying somewhere new. Parking can be tricky around here (it’s London, after all), but if you’re driving, there are some residential streets nearby where you might get lucky with a spot.

What really sets this place apart is that it gives you the independence of having your own space while still getting that hotel-level cleanliness and service. You’re not cramped into a tiny room, and you can actually live a bit rather than just sleep somewhere. "Beautiful flat in great location!"
We loved the flat and the location! It was spacious and warm, had all the amenities we could want and even had Netflix!! The location is very close to the overground station and has so many restaurants and shops nearby.

Location is great if you want to be in around a busy nightlife area, but not noisy to the point you get disturbed (road noise is unavoidable).
The apartment is beautifully presented. Clean, appealing, modern and comfortable with excellent facilities in terms of kitchen, bathroom and studio. Complimentary Nespresso machine, teabags and sugar is a great touch. I would use again.
What could be improved: Nothing really, other than to note it is a second floor apartment so there's a bit of a climb up two flights of stairs to get to the apartment, but it's in a city centre location so you have to expect that I guess.

The location was good just a little outside shoreditch and relatively easy to find. Jag was able to support a change in Key pick up and was in contact if there were any challenges. The room was well serviced, clean and in good condition. I was in town for a company meeting so really only needed somewhere to stay for a night but would work well for a weekend base as it is right next to a very vibrant area in London so would make an excellent place to visit.
What could be improved: Nothing- all good for what I needed.
