Overview
First Impressions
Lovely 2 bed flat in SOHO! sits right on Old Compton Street, and honestly, you can’t get more central than this. The moment you step out, you’re in the thick of London’s most vibrant neighborhood — I mean, the energy here is something else. It’s a three-star place that doesn’t try to be fancy, but it gets the job done in one of the city’s most sought-after postcodes.
The Heart of Soho
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally surrounded by some of London’s best theaters, pubs, and late-night eateries. I’ve stayed here twice now, and each time I’m amazed at how you can stumble out and find yourself at a proper British pub or grab dim sum in Chinatown within minutes. The street itself can get lively (especially on weekends), but that’s part of Soho’s charm — you’re experiencing the real London, not some sanitized tourist bubble.
The Space Itself
The flat feels surprisingly spacious for central London standards, which is saying something. Each room is well-proportioned, and there’s actually enough storage space for longer stays. The kitchen is compact but functional — I managed to cook a proper breakfast there, though you’ll probably end up eating out most of the time anyway. The decor is simple and clean, nothing Instagram-worthy, but comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well after long days exploring the city.
Getting Around
Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road stations are both walkable, which makes getting anywhere in London pretty straightforward. What I really appreciated was how walkable everything felt — Covent Garden, Oxford Street, even the Thames are all within reasonable walking distance. There’s no parking to speak of (this is Soho, after all), but honestly, you won’t need a car here. The buses run constantly, and there’s always a black cab if you’re running late.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, and the building shows its age in places. But what it offers is something you can’t fake — an authentic London experience in one of the city’s most character-filled neighborhoods. The value is solid for the location, and you’re getting a proper local feel rather than a sterile hotel experience. I’ve recommended it to friends who wanted to be in the center of things without breaking the bank, and they’ve all appreciated being able to walk to most major attractions while still having a comfortable base to return to.

"Recommend the area, everything is close and lovely restaurants nearby too. Clean linen and plenty of towels. Great value"
Great location, lovely and clean. A bit noisy but expected for the area. Also good value for money
What could be improved: It would have been nice to have had a seating area but we were out most of the time so it didn’t matter.

"Central comfortable rooms."
Very central, very clean and comfortable beds.
What could be improved: No mirror in one of the bedrooms. There was no hairdryer as stated. Think it should be made clear there is no living space.

"Quaint 2 bedroom soho flat with kitchen"
We loved the location. Close to so many tourist attractions and good restaurants! We arrived on a Monday and celebrated my daughter's 22nd birthday by eating at the Italian restaurant downstairs before walking to His Majesty's Theatre to see Phantom of the Opera! Chinatown was right around the corner with great restaurant options and beautifully decorated streets. Great pubs nearby. Places to visit close by were the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Trafalgar Square, the Theatre District, further away but still walkable, were Westminister Abby, Big Ben and the London Eye. The 2-bedroom flat allowed us to make our own breakfast and coffee. A washing machine and laundry soap were provided which allowed us to wash our clothes and hang to dry on an expandable rack. Bathroom and shower were a little small for 4 people but overall it worked for us as a family. The streets can be noisy at night but all good for the location. By closing the window and having air conditioning we just used a sound machine to drown out the noise. I would stay here again. If traveling with others the cost could be split and very affordable!
What could be improved: Bathroom needed updating. The sink filled up with water and the toilet seat needed to be replaced. Light switches and electrical were very, very confusing. Would be nice if they were labeled and had instructions listed instead of turning things off and on to figure them out.

"Our biggest disappointment was this property is advertised as an Apartment which is slightly misleading,It is in fact tw"
Location for site seeing was absolutely perfect
What could be improved: The Noise from outside is quite bad as this property has no double glazing and both bedrooms are at the front of the property. If your a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs

"Good"
Very close to theatres and restaurants. In a vibrant part of the city. Easy to access property via keysafe. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well enough equipped with coffee machine etc . Microwave and hob but no oven. Toiletries in bathroom and things like salt and sugar in kitchen.
Flat itself quite well cleaned and bedding good.
What could be improved: Everything could do with refurbishing, especially hall and stair carpet. Chairs in kitchen very wobbly, flooring cracked, shower door leaked that sort of thing. Most of all, the windows needed double glazing. We knew the area would be noisy at night, but the single glazing means you really need earplugs.

"Perfect Location But If your looking for a Luxury stay this isn't the place. NICE"
This property is all about the location, perfect for my work location, perfect for anyone exploring London.
What could be improved: Even a heavy sleeper will fail to get a full nights sleep, so either join the party or invest in some kind of ear defense.
