This three-star place doesn’t look like much from the street, but once you get up to the penthouse level, it’s a completely different story.

The Space

Walking into this apartment, you immediately get why they call it a penthouse. The ceilings are high, there’s natural light streaming in from multiple directions, and the whole space feels way more expansive than you’d expect. The kitchen is actually functional — not just some tiny afterthought with a mini-fridge, but a proper setup where you could make breakfast or even a decent dinner if you wanted to skip the tourist restaurants for a night.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I really appreciated: you’re in this sweet spot where Islington meets Kings Cross, so you get the best of both worlds. The area’s got that slightly edgy, creative vibe that makes London feel authentic, but you’re also connected to everything. The tube station is right there, which means central London is maybe 15 minutes away, tops. Plus, there’s this growing food scene around Kings Cross that most tourists completely miss.

The Room Experience

Both bedrooms are properly sized — not those cramped London boxes you sometimes get stuck with. The main bedroom has decent storage, and the second one works perfectly if you’re traveling with family or friends who actually want some privacy. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on a fairly busy road. The windows seem to block out most of the street noise, which in London is honestly half the battle won.

Why Guests Love It

You know what makes this place work? It’s that it feels like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. There’s parking available if you’re brave enough to drive in London, though honestly, with Kings Cross station right there, I’m not sure why you’d bother. "Loved it for a family of 4!"
Excellent communication, great location (2 blocks from Kings Cross, kitchen was well appointed, modern decor.
What could be improved: Washer/dryer didn't work correctly, LOTS of stairs (4 flights) not an issue for us but should be noted.

"This flat has a great location near transportation."
The location near King’s Cross was super! And the beds were very comfortable. The upstairs felt spacious—the kitchen counter was nice, and there was ample room for 4 people to eat at the table.
What could be improved: The beds pretty much take up all bedroom space. One bedroom has a small chest and one has a closet, but there’s really no floor space even to put a suitcase down without having to step over and around it. As listed in the description, there are a lot of steps! The automated info email is out of date (regarding Morrison’s for checkin and checkout, and for the WiFi name and password).

The location, very close to Metro and trains. Plus lots of place to eat nearby and convenient stores. Nearby Morrison was a great place to buy some stuffs to stock up.
What could be improved: The flight of stairs to carry a heavy luggage you’d have to be pretty strong and fit. I was prepared after reading the reviews. But man, was no joke as I have 2 large luggage’s…

A super apartment, full of character, very clean with everything you need for a great stay. 5 minutes walk to the underground.

The location and the furnishing is comfortable and bright.
What could be improved: Lots actually. The noise from the streets lasts throughout the night. The link to the instructions o. How to access the apartment couldn’t be opened and we had a hard time trying to get in. Messaged the staff and finally got in after more than half an hour in the rain. The doors to both bathrooms in the apartment were not aligned and thus not able to close. The shower head in the common bathroom was broken and not fixed after 3 nights even though the staff promised to fix it. The master bedroom wooden bed frame was bigger than the mattress and we knocked into the frame quite a few times. The living room TV couldn’t load any of the local channels. It was really tough lugging 3 huge luggage bags up and down the many flights of stairs.

Très bon Emplacement avec gare à deux pas de l établissement. Très beau quartier. Possible de faire tout a pied pour des bons marcheurs . Appartement sécurisé Appartement moderne , Tout équipé , il ne manquait rien . Appartement propre . Épicerie , restaurants, KFC , Mac do , etc….tout à côté .
What could be improved: Les lates du lit étaient cassées on a dû mettre des coussins sous le lit pour soutenir le matelas car impossible de dormir .

"Alojamiento bonito y bien situado para visitar Londres, aunque con habitaciones algo pequeñas"
Lo mejor es la ubicación, muy próxima al metro y al tren. La limpieza del apartamento muy buena, así como el equipamiento del mismo. La recogida se realiza de forma muy cómoda, e independiente de la hora de llegada. El anfitrion siempre atento a los mensajes.
What could be improved: El tamaño de las habitaciones resulta pequeño, especialmente de la habitación principal donde resulta dificil entrar en la cama por uno de los lados. Además, dicha habitación resulta muy ruidosa ya que parecen tener muy poco aislamiento. Por otro lado, no se pueden abrir por lo que no se puede ventilar la habitación. Los colchones y almohadas resultan algo incomodos,
