When I first stumbled upon Keysan House 2 in London’s Camden district, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. What I really appreciate about this spot is how it sits right in the heart of Camden — and I mean the real Camden, not just the touristy market bits. You’re actually walking distance from Camden Lock, sure, but you’re also near those little independent cafes and vintage shops that don’t make it into guidebooks. The Regent’s Canal is practically on your doorstep, which means morning walks that feel surprisingly peaceful for central London. Plus, getting to King’s Cross or central London is dead simple from here.
The Room Experience
My room was… well, let’s call it characterful. This isn’t a place that’s trying to impress you with marble bathrooms or designer furniture, but there’s something refreshingly honest about that approach. The space felt lived-in rather than sterile, with quirky touches that actually felt intentional rather than accidental. You get the basics done well — comfortable bed, decent shower, and thankfully, reliable WiFi that actually works when you need it.

Here’s where Keysan House 2 really wins me over — it doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. There’s no fancy restaurant or spa trying to keep you locked inside; instead, you’re encouraged to explore what Camden has to offer. And honestly, that’s perfect because some of London’s best curry houses and independent pubs are literally around the corner. I found myself chatting with the staff about where locals actually eat, and their recommendations were spot-on.

"Great location, cheap price"
Location is great, host was very quick to reply when our shower broke and fixed it for us. Had teabags, shampoo, towels etc. place was clean and check in was very easy.
What could be improved: Didn’t have any toilet roll when we arrived but we purchased some. The washing machine/dryer was on and also full with I’m assuming was the previous guests bedsheets/towels.

"It was lovely."
I like the location, closed to many shops, property has equipped kitchen x it was tidy. Adequate windows for lighting. Towels, shampoo provided.
What could be improved: The stairs its in the 2nd floor, we didn’t have luggages so we are fine.

"As said great for location we needed. Perfect for one night."
Great location for what we wanted it for.
What could be improved: Lots of stairs and the kettle no matter what plug you put it in blew the electrics. At 72 years old had to get onto a chair to put electrics back on. Kettle needs sorting.

"Enjoyed our stay and location was great would stay again"
Property was in ideal location close to everything we needed. Close to camden market and good connections via bus and tube.
What could be improved: Would not recommend for people with any sort of mobility issues, as have to go up stairs and shower is a big step ( a step stool might be beneficial)

"Would not recommend unless you are just staying for a night and do not plan to stay long in the flat."
The location of the flat is very convenient. Is very close to the Mornington Crescent station and walking distance to the Camden town station from the Northern line which connects you very well to the city. It has 3 beds which is convenient and hard to find. The bathroom is big but with a small shower. Check in was very easy with clear instructions.
What could be improved: The property is in poor condition. The entrance to door that takes you to the flats is next to the toilets of a restaurant and it smells of food. The flat was ok just for sleeping, the beds where fine, but it was a bit messy with boxes below the bed, curtains with some stains and I found hairs in one of the towels. The kitchen utensils were in a very poor condition and the kitchen was messy. I could not use a pot to boil water and the kettle no matter what plug you put it blew the electrics, we ha le to use a chair to figure out how to put electrics back on. The bathroom door does not have a lock, and to close it there is a door stopper in poor condition.

"Super gelegenes Appartement"
Die Lage war hervorragend! Wir haben uns in dem Appartement sehr wohl gefühlt.
What could be improved: Die Tür zum Badezimmer hatte kein Schloss, sondern nur einen Türstopper. Natürlich war es laut, weiß man aber bei der Lage.

"Ci avete salvato la vacanza!"
La posizione è stratosferica, a 2 passi da 2 stazioni della metro a Camden. Il "centro" di Londra è raggiungibile facilmente con i mezzi. Se siete un gruppo di amici (max 4) avete una certa confidenza tra voi e non cercate il lusso, questo appartamento fa per voi. C'è tutto quello che serve (addirittura il ferro da stiro 😀) e vi garantirà un'esperienza super conviviale. Inoltre la struttura mi è rimasta nel cuore perché siamo riusciti a prenotarla il giorno stesso dell'arrivo, visto che la struttura prenotata mesi prima ha disteso la prenotazione la sera prima di arrivare a Londra...🤬 Hanno salvato la nostra vacanza!!!
What could be improved: La doccia così alta, dopo qualche pinta, è un po' pericolosa...🤣🤣🤣 I'm kidding you!!

la zona no está mal. está muy cerca de supermercados y restaurantes.
What could be improved: las ventanas son como hojas de papel. y el ruido es increíble, las ventanas no son herméticas y no puedes descansar en condiciones después de estar todo el día fuera.
