When I first arrived, I appreciated how the building sits quietly on a residential street, yet you’re literally minutes from multiple transport links.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually thought about how travelers live, not just where they sleep. The bedroom is properly sized — I mean, you can walk around the bed without doing some weird sideways shuffle. What really got me was the kitchen setup; it’s not just a couple of burner plates and a mini-fridge calling itself functional. You’ve got real counter space and appliances that work, which honestly made grabbing breakfast or a late dinner so much easier than hunting down restaurants every single time.
Location That Actually Delivers
Here’s where this place really shines — the transport connections aren’t just marketing speak. Hammersmith station is a proper transport hub where you can catch the Piccadilly line straight to Heathrow or hop on the District line to Westminster. The Overground stops right there too, and honestly, those bus routes mentioned in the name? They actually matter when you’re trying to get somewhere the Tube doesn’t quite reach.
The Neighborhood Feel
Woodstock Grove sits in that sweet spot where you get a real London residential vibe without feeling completely cut off from everything. There’s a Tesco Express around the corner (trust me, you’ll need it), and the area has that lived-in feeling where locals actually walk their dogs and chat with neighbors. It’s Hammersmith and Fulham, so you’re getting that west London character without the Notting Hill prices.

"Really great for travelling on a budget"
The host is very pleasant. The flat is clean, it has a well-equipped kitchen. Even though it is a two-bedroom apartment, most of the time it felt like we were there alone. 3 lines of underground and a couple of buses very close to the flat. There are many restaurants and bars around, but the surroundings of the flat itself are fairly quiet, so you can both go out and sleep in peace. I really recommend it for a few days, great value for money.
What could be improved: It is a bit far from the city centre, around 30min via the tube so you spend a bit more money and time on public transport.

"Very close to shephards bush"
Property was nice and clean and smelled lovely! Really close to Shepard bush tube station
What could be improved: We got to the property around 10pm and picked up the keys from the lock (there’s two locks)
One of the rooms was already occupied by other guests and they had the room that was advertised. The room we ended up with was still nice (slightly smaller) but it was a bit confusing not being in the room we saw in the photos.

"Good property and host. Unfortunately I wouldn't revisit due to the loud neighbour."
Everything was as advertised. Highlights were how nicely made my room was upon arrival, the super comfy bed, how clean the apartment was, and the in depth introduction message from the host which was helpful.
What could be improved: Unfortunately somebody in a different apartment in the building (I think in the flat directly above) had loud phone conversations between 2-4am in the morning on the first night, and was also singing at the same time on one of the other nights. I'm a heavy sleeper and was using ear plugs - unfortunately this person still managed to wake me up multiple times.
The kitchen could do with a new metal saucepan.

"Nice inexpensive place that is better than I expected."
This airbnb is basic but everything that was promised was delivered with quality. Whole place is clean and quiet, which was important to me. Easy to find and to get in. Decent room with private key, the towel was thick and big. Free water and biscuits were very nice touch! The place is maybe 5 minutes walking from subway, very convenient area. I will gladly stay again.
What could be improved: The bathroom is very small. The room can get hot at night, but you can open the window for fresh air.

"The location was good but the flat requires an upgrade of comfortable seating and TVs"
The flat was clean and very central to public transport and shopping centres. The kitchen was well stocked and the fridge, washing machine and drier were great.
What could be improved: There were no suitable chairs to sit on either in the lounge or kitchen. We had no luck with both the TV in the bedroom and the projector in the lounge not connecting to our devices, despite Ron coming over to try and fix it. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were too soft/flat.

"Short, one night stay, super easy, comfy and convenient! 10/10 would recommend!"
Fantastic value for money, bed was comfy, available and fast wifi. Host was very accommodating with the odd question I had.
What could be improved: Nothing, It did exactly what it needed too :)
