Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Kensington luxury flat with patio on Iverna Gardens, you immediately notice how quiet this tree-lined street feels compared to the bustle just minutes away. The Victorian terrace houses here have that proper London character — white facades with black iron railings and those tall windows that make you wonder about the stories inside. This four-star flat sits perfectly in the middle of it all, and honestly, the patio was the first thing that caught my eye from the street.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical rental. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in quality with a mix of modern furniture and classic touches that actually work together. What I really appreciated was the full kitchen — not just some token setup, but proper appliances and enough space to cook if you want to grab groceries from the Whole Foods down on Kensington High Street. The bedroom is generous by London standards, and you know what, the bed was genuinely comfortable (which isn’t always a given).

That Patio Life

The patio is where this place really shines, especially if you’re visiting during warmer months. It’s not huge, but it’s private and gets lovely afternoon light — perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. I mean, having any outdoor space in central London feels like a bit of a miracle. The neighbors are respectful, and there’s something quite peaceful about sitting out there in the evenings, which you wouldn’t expect being so close to everything.

Kensington Perks

The location is what really makes this work. You’re about a seven-minute walk to High Street Kensington tube station, which puts you anywhere in London pretty easily. Hyde Park is literally at the end of the street — I found myself cutting through it constantly, whether heading to Paddington or just wanting some green space. The neighborhood has that upscale residential feel without being stuffy, and there’s a good mix of cafes, pubs, and shops within walking distance.

Why Guests Love It

This flat works because it gives you the experience of actually living in Kensington rather than just visiting. The patio adds something special that most London accommodations can’t offer, and the space feels authentic to the area. Street parking can be tricky (it’s London, after all), but if you’re relying on public transport, the connections are excellent. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning extra time just to enjoy being there, rather than rushing out to see everything else the city has to offer.

London’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike routes to hidden mews streets.

"A very pleasant stay"
We loved staying at the Kensington flat, it is just 5 minutes walk from High Street Kensington where there are lots of shops and cafes and also the tube. The apartment is located in a very quiet and elegant little street and everything was provided, including coffee, tea, sugar and very clean and comfy beds. We received very clear instructions on how to find the lockbox with the keys and it was a fun activity for the kids 😀. We'll for sure book it again in the future.
What could be improved: Just a little thing to be added that one day we came back and the switch of the hot water went automatically off and we didn't have hot water for the shower, but as we were given clear instructions on that too, we promptly solved the issue.

"Absolutely beautiful wee spot, would highly recommend for any travellers wanting to be close to London. Kensington is a"
We really enjoyed the location of the property and modern facilities, it was so lovely that the host also had a great baby crib and highchair available for us too.
What could be improved: The beds weren’t very comfortable and there wasn’t a lot of airflow in the rooms, but there was a portable fan!

"Great stay, Location and host's"
Location amazing for museums, much better suited for a family stay. Very easy to deal with hosts, key collection was so easy but we made it a treasure hunt for the kids.
What could be improved: one of the sofa beds needs a replacement i think with a big lump in it. But kids slept well

"Excellent location for a stay in London"
Excellent location in a great neighbourhood. It was easy to catch the bus, tube or even connect to the Big Bus route from our accomodation. Great shops and food options nearby.
What could be improved: The ‘sofa beds’ were not comfortable, and actually too short for us with our feet hanging over the edge. The shower was boiling hot and appeared to be faulty - the owners did offer to have a repair man inspect the fault, but that did not feel safe or convenient for us. This can be fixed though, don’t let that deter you from staying here, it was just a shame we could not rely on these amenities.

"Good"
Very good location, close to underground stations, nice neighberhood. The apartment was well equipped.
What could be improved: The double bed had some slats broken, and it wasn't fixed during our stay. The apartment is called "luxury" but is in fact rather basic

"Great location, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Overall was a great place to stay"
Great location, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Overall was a great place to stay, would recommend and would stay again.
What could be improved: Some poor quality fittings such as wobbly table and chairs, shower fitting. Coffee machine didn't work. Noisy / strange neighbours upstairs.

"Lovely home"
Excellent location and perfect for a 2 people. Very clean and a 3 min walk to the Kensington high street station. Close to everything and very well equipped.
What could be improved: Nothing …was perfect for me … it’s a semi basement Appartment but lovely. There is a narrow flight of 5 stairs to carry luggage …but it’s really nothing
