This apartment sits quietly in residential Hammersmith, and honestly, having your own private entrance makes all the difference — no awkward encounters with other guests or fumbling around shared spaces. The tree-lined street feels properly London without being touristy, which I actually prefer.
Location & Neighborhood
The Hammersmith location is one of those spots that locals love but visitors often overlook. You’re a quick walk to the Hammersmith & City line, which gets you into central London without the chaos of staying right in the thick of things. There’s a brilliant gastropub around the corner — The Hampshire Hog — and Ravenscourt Park is maybe five minutes away if you need some green space. I mean, four-star comfort in this area? That’s actually pretty smart positioning.
The Space Itself
This flat really delivers on the “spacious” promise in its name. The room layout feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed home than a typical hotel setup, with proper living areas that don’t feel cramped or hotel-generic. The garden access is lovely — not huge, but there’s something satisfying about having your own little outdoor spot after a day of sightseeing. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details, like having a proper kitchen setup if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Sainsbury’s.
Practical Comforts
The 8.3 rating makes sense once you’ve spent time here — it’s those little things that add up. Good water pressure in the shower, reliable WiFi, and the kind of comfortable furniture you’d actually choose for your own place. The private entrance means you can come and go without disturbing anyone, which is brilliant if you’re jet-lagged or fancy an early morning coffee run. There’s decent parking available too, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car in this area.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you the independence of your own flat with the reliability of proper accommodation standards. You’re not sharing walls with other hotel guests, but you’re also not dealing with the uncertainty that sometimes comes with private rentals. "Regardless of the bad things, we would repeat for next time"
In general terms, we found everything that we need and we would like to repeat the experience next time we go to London. We liked the distribution, the amenities, the modern finishes, the location, how easy is to access the property, checkin and checkout process.
What could be improved: And it is sad to say, that there were some inconveniences:
-On 13th, while our baby was in her nap, happening around 2 pm, we listened a noisily woman that actually fallen through the entrance stairs hitting the property door. It felt like she was inside our apartment, my husband and I were relaxing and I had to change my clothes to open the door, since that woman was ringing the bell. I thought it was to ask for help or so... It was so confusing and scary. I opened the door and she didn´t even greet me properly or present apologises for being annoying (and I'm not talking about the fall, that is a pity!), she final intent was to ingress to the property to leave some towels (not for us) in a storing room. Before letting her enter, I felt bad of looking at her elbow with minor scratch, otherwise I would ignore her ringing in our door. This is unacceptable, first, she could be severely injured, second, she interrupted our rest and almost wake up our baby.
-The pans, scissors and kitchen utensils are in really bad conditions. Burned, scratched and with oxide.
-The auxiliar restroom has a damage in the door, and in the bathroom there is an issue with the radiator.
-Blinds are not enough to ensure the guest rest, in the night you are being blinded by lights of the vehicles, we had to bring with us some portal blackouts to ensure our baby rest both in the night and in the day.
-A small dinning table would be great, our baby and us were struggling to eat
-Sofa bed was terribly dirt, you can see the stains in the fabric, and it is super hard for the back, not confortable at all.
-Bed sheets have yellow stains and the bed header has so much dust.
-Terrace furniture was dirty with bird poop.

"Exceptional"
Fantastic location, short walk to supermarket, restautants and West Ken station. I am familiar with the area but this brings new excitement to me staying at this large sized flat. Managed to do some cooking and went through a few bottles over the week of netflix and dine in.
What could be improved: Had issue turning on radiator at first but was quickly guided by the host... No biggie. The flat is well maintained and very homey. Already a top stay experience, but I would say the sofa can be upgraded for an even better stay

The flat was ideally located for work with plenty of amenities around. It was also in a quiet location and offered everything I needed during my stay.

"Perfect for a longer stay"
Great location, within 5 min walk to a tube station, large Tesco nearby, 2 min to Sainsbury's. A very nice and quiet residential area. Very well equipped kitchen, with all utensils we needed. Comfortable heating in the apartment. We had a very good experience altogether. Stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much!
What could be improved: This basement flat has a bit of moisture in the air. I just wonder, which British flat doesn't...
