Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first spotted Entire Family Home – 2BD2BTH Central Earl’s Court on Philbeach Gardens, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another Victorian terrace. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. This four-star family home sits right in the heart of Earl’s Court, and I mean really in the heart of it — you’re practically neighbors with some of the most vibrant street life in London.
The Space That Actually Works
Walking into this place, the first thing that hits you is how much space you actually get. We’re talking about a proper two-bedroom setup where each room feels like it belongs in a real home, not some cramped hotel box. The kitchen — and I use that term generously because it’s more like a compact cooking space — has everything you need if you’re planning to whip up breakfast or grab snacks between exploring. I spent a good chunk of my morning there, and it honestly felt more comfortable than expected.
Location Reality Check
Here’s the thing about Philbeach Gardens that most people don’t realize until they’re actually here — you’re about a three-minute walk to Earl’s Court tube station, which means you can be in South Kensington in literally one stop. The neighborhood has this interesting mix of long-term locals and travelers, so you’ll find proper corner shops next to places clearly catering to tourists. I actually preferred this blend because it felt more authentic than staying somewhere completely sanitized.
Living Like Locals
What I appreciated most was how this setup lets you live more like you actually belong in London for a few days. There’s proper storage space, decent WiFi, and — this matters if you’re traveling with family — enough room to spread out without everyone getting on each other’s nerves. The two bathrooms situation is genuinely helpful when you’re trying to get ready for a day of sightseeing. I mean, no one talks about bathroom logistics until you’re actually dealing with them.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, and the 7.4 rating tells you it’s solid rather than spectacular. But sometimes solid is exactly what you need, especially if you’re planning to actually explore London rather than hang out in your accommodation all day. The value here is pretty straightforward — you get space, location, and the kind of setup that works for families or small groups who want to feel settled rather than just passing through. Plus, Earl’s Court has this energy that grows on you, particularly in the evenings when the whole area comes alive.

"Great Location with plenty of space. Few min walk to Earls court"
We had a great stay at this 2-bed flat in Earl’s Court. The location is unbeatable—just a few minute walk from the tube from the Warwick Street exit, which made getting around London super convenient. There is a Tesco a few min talk away also.
The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. They met us in person for check-in, which was a nice touch and made
everything smooth from the start.
We had a car for one night, and while the area is mostly resident parking from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, we managed to find a few 2-hour parking spots a few blocks away until 6pm. Then could park overnight there.
Perfect place for our short stay.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located basement level flat with excellent service.
What could be improved: Bathrooms had no ventilation

"Enjoyed the space in the apartment and 5 minutes walk from underground.ideal location"
Ideally located for our visit. Clean with large rooms
What could be improved: Building being renovated so some noise and untidy areas at the front. Some areas poorly finished, drawers not closing etc

"Good"
Great location to tube in a beautiful area
What could be improved: The bed wasn’t comfortable and we had three adults and the foldout bed in the lounge room is too hard to sleep in.

What could be improved: Second bed not so comfy.

"Really comfortable, easily accessible & enjoyed staying."
The amount of space. Very clean. Building manager was super lovely & really accommodating. Easy transport links. Owner touched base frequently, ensuring we were ok. Basic amenities available like; dishwasher & washing machine. Would very much stay here again.
What could be improved: How noisy the upstairs neighbours were. Bit dark due to being in the basement, & some areas could do with updating/replacing. Beware of the stairs, going down, when wet. Also, surprise safety deposit/waiver, but speaking to the owner sorted this out, because it wasn't mentioned in the listing.

"Pleasant stay in good location"
The location was amazing, so close to transport and the city. Check in was very easy, and they were quick to respond and help if we needed. The bedrooms are large and having two bathrooms is great.
What could be improved: The blinds don't work except one in the front room. We didn't realize it was a basement apartment. The bathrooms had no ventilation and got very steamy and hot and were a tight squeeze. One of the bedrooms smelt very damp.

"Lovely stay with a couple of caveats"
We had a lovely stay with a couple of caveats. The location was excellent: a very short walk to Earl’s Court tube station but the train noise was minimal from the apartment — a rare combination! It was central to everything in London and great being on the Piccadilly line for access to Heathrow and St Pancras station. The apartment was very well equipped with everything that we needed and had plenty of space. It was warm and safe and the owner was friendly. The garden out the back was also superb. Picturesque with a little playground and lots of running around space for the kids.
What could be improved: The WiFi was terrible; it would have been more accurate to advertise the property without WiFi. For me it dropped off almost immediately after connecting every time.
Secondly, while I understand this is out of the property’s control, we could hear every creak of the floor from the upstairs neighbour. This would have been fine except that it was mostly at night time. The noise died down around midnight and then started up again from 1.30am-2.30am every night.

"Well located flat in Central London with good local amenities but they need to sort out the wifi."
Location was perfect on a quiet one way street very close to the Tube station and local amenities. Connection with District and Piccadily lines to Central London was very easy. Julio was really helpful.
What could be improved: Wifi signal was poor and given that there was no terrestrial tv channels this made watching Netflix etc very challenging and frustrating. Neighbours above were quite noisy.

"We are greatly happy and hope to come again soon."
We love the area, really quiet and
easy access to bus and underground station. The place was spacious, well equipped, and cozy. The owner and manager were super friendly and helpful. I truly recommend family to stay here. And it is great for long stay too.
What could be improved: No dryer for clothing but they did prepare the hanging rack, so no issue.

"Pleasant"
Spacious bedrooms and living room.
The big sofa bed was a bonus for my son.
What could be improved: Weak wifi. Not very stable, and almost unconnectable in the rooms. We ended up gathered around the living room when we needed internet.
Bathrooms quite small and cramped for space.
