Overview
First Impressions
The Diamond Suite Camden Town 3 Bedroom Sleeps 11 sits on a quiet stretch of Haverstock Hill, which honestly surprised me — you’re in Camden but away from the chaos. It’s one of those converted Victorian buildings where they’ve managed to squeeze in modern apartment living without completely destroying the character. The entrance feels a bit residential (because it is), but once you’re inside flat 7, the space opens up in ways you wouldn’t expect from the street view.
The Space Itself
This four-star setup genuinely sleeps 11 people without feeling like a hostel dormitory, which is quite the achievement. The three bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged — the master actually has decent natural light, and the other two aren’t afterthoughts shoved into corners. What impressed me most was the kitchen situation; it’s properly equipped, not just a token kitchenette with a mini-fridge and prayer.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about Haverstock Hill? You can walk to Camden Market in about 10 minutes, but you’re not dealing with the tourist madness outside your window at 2am. London’s transport links are solid here — Chalk Farm tube is your closest bet, though Camden Town station isn’t much further if you prefer the Northern Line’s city branch. The local Tesco Express becomes your best friend when you’re feeding a group this size.
Living the Group Experience
I’ve stayed in plenty of London group accommodations, and most feel like they’re designed by people who’ve never actually traveled with friends or family. This place gets it right — there’s enough communal space that you’re not all crammed into one tiny room, but it’s not so sprawling that you lose the group dynamic. The layout actually encourages hanging out together, which sounds obvious but rarely happens in practice.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating makes sense once you’re here for a few days. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — no pretentious lobby or overpriced mini-bar nonsense. Instead, you get reliable Wi-Fi, proper heating (crucial in London), and enough space to spread out without stepping on each other. For large groups visiting London, especially families or friend groups who actually want to spend time together, it hits that sweet spot between independence and shared experience that’s surprisingly hard to find in the city.

"Very good"
Nice apartment in Camden. Close (5 minutes walk) to underground station Chalk farm. Suitable for larger groups.
What could be improved: Had some trouble entering the apartment, but the host sent us video how to open the door immediately. Some small details spoilt the impression like broken window in one room.

"Great location, great host, very clean."
This is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from Chalk Farm tube station. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything that you need for your stay. The host is great, very helpful and always on hand to help if needed.
What could be improved: The rooms aren’t as spacious as the photos show. There is only hot water in one of the bathrooms.

"Superb"
Great location, loads of beds for large group of friends.
What could be improved: Kitchen very small for the amount of people the property can hold. Some of the chairs were broken and need replacing.
One bedroom had 2 beds when it probably should only have 1 so you couldn't close the bedroom door.

"Good convenient stay."
The beds were excellent and property close to the station and markets.
What could be improved: Slightly cramped for our family of 5 teenagers and young adults.
Unfortunately some of the furniture items were broken (chair/lamp) washing powder was glued to the compartment, door would not stay open in the kitchen as the door stopper was broken.

"Good"
The location was excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the metro. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had a dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a couple of nights.
What could be improved: The apartment had two bathrooms, but in one of them, the hot water didn’t work, so we essentially only had one shower for seven people. We were a group of colleagues, and all the beds had shared double blankets. In one bedroom, the window was broken and wouldn’t close, so it got quite cold at night. The kitchen door wouldn’t stay open, so we had to wedge a chair in between, and then jump over it every time we wanted to go to the kitchen.

"The location of the property is good."
The location
What could be improved: The property is located at third floor and there is no lift. It is very difficult for us to bring all our baggages into the property.

"It was very nice staying there,"
It was super nice that the host was really responsive (we had problem setting up the heat and he responded immediateley).
it's very close to the station, very central. And very clean and confortable
What could be improved: The flat is a bit small for all this bedding, the common part of the building could be nicer.
