Overview
First Impressions
When I first arrived at Cozy Flat close to central London, I’ll be honest — the building itself isn’t going to win any architectural awards. But once you get inside this apartment, everything clicks. The name pretty much says it all, though I’d argue it’s more than just cozy — it’s actually quite thoughtfully laid out for what you get in this price range.
Location & Getting Around
West Ealing might not sound glamorous, but here’s what I learned: you’re genuinely close to central London without paying central London prices. The Drayton Green Road location puts you about a 10-minute walk from West Ealing station, and from there it’s roughly 20 minutes into Paddington. I mean, that’s pretty reasonable when you consider what you’d pay for something similar in Zone 1. The neighborhood has that authentic London residential feel — tree-lined streets, local pubs, and you know what? It felt safe walking around even in the evenings.
The Space Itself
The flat surprised me with how well-equipped the kitchen was — not just the basics, but proper cookware if you want to save money eating in. The room setup works well for couples or solo travelers who need space to spread out. What I appreciated most was the attention to little details: decent Wi-Fi, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough parking nearby that you don’t have to circle the block forever if you’re driving.
The Practical Stuff
Look, this isn’t a four-star hotel experience in the traditional sense — there’s no concierge or daily housekeeping. But honestly, that’s not what you’re here for. The place is clean, functional, and has everything you actually need rather than everything hotels think you need. The shower has proper water pressure (always a gamble with London flats), and the heating works reliably. Sometimes the simple things matter most when you’re dealing with unpredictable British weather.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I get why this place scores well with travelers. It delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. You’re getting honest value — a comfortable base that lets you experience London without breaking the bank on accommodation. The West Ealing location actually becomes an advantage once you realize how easy it is to get around, and having your own space means you can live a bit more like a local rather than a tourist. For the price point and what you get, it’s genuinely hard to complain.
London hotels keep travelers close to Tower Bridge views, iconic shopping streets, and tube lines to world-class museums.

"Superb"
The location.
What could be improved: The scaffolding work outside the building was a bit annoying. But since we were out the whole day, it wasn't a major issue

"Highly recommended - Clean, Comfortable & Great Location"
Clean and cozy apartment with all necessities provided. Great location- very close to the West Ealing station, Waitrose, Asian and Middle eastern restaurants. Marlene provided easy instructions and stayed reachable throughout. Thanks for hosting.
What could be improved: Although not a major concern - the key box is a few buildings away. Also, was a bit concerned when I didn’t get check-in details/any messages in booking.com from the property, with just a day left before our arrival. Would be good if they reach out a few days in prior.

"Very good"
Spacious flat with excellent location (travel to Central London, grocery shop, parks).
Clean, easy guidance how to find property. Lift (4th floor flat).
What could be improved: Lockbox at different address. Expected check in was at 3pm, code to the lockbox not provided.
After contacting property code provided to us was incorrect.
Parking booked during reservation was not available for us.

"A home away from home"
Very clean, nicely decorated, and it had all the appliances and conveniences you need for a short stay. The owners even provided a few small but very useful items such as sugar, salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. It was like a home away from home. The check in and out was easy and convenient.
The location was very good, although a little away from central London. It is very close to a supermarket and also to a tube station (Elizabeth line). Also, close to Ealing Broadway station which has more transport options, and also is a busier spot for restaurants and bars.
*** Very close to Heathrow airport ***
What could be improved: We found the apartment very warm, and it took us a while to figure out the heating system. Also, the window blinds were temperamental.

"Exceptional"
Everything was as described, we stayed with our parents and my sister and there was enough space four us 5 and even a 6th person if needed.
The rooms were very clean and the keys and apartment easy to find.
Also the tube station is close nearby and London is just a short drive away :)

"Superb!"
Everything about the house was very good, anything a stayer might need was considered and it was a comfortable house. Getting to Central London was very easy, and there were restaurants and shops around the house. The host was attentive, as a result, I would definitely recommend it.

"Would definitely book again"
Great location, close to tube but within walking distance of food and entertainment. 20 minute walk to Ealing Broadway. Comfy beds, clean, well equipped. Great communication from Marlene regarding check in and out. Waitrose right behind the apartment so you can get all your essentials.

"Good location but very poor accommodation - don't recommend."
Great location close to Elizabeth line tube and Waitrose.
What could be improved: Poor communication from host prior to stay - turned up with no info on getting keys or leaving bags for the day. Small beds - not "2m long" as listed as that includes the headboard/tailboard. Linen dreadful, no mattress protectors or fitted sheets, old pillows - definitely not "hotel standard" as listed. Small hot water tank - only lasted 3 showers and there were four of us. Blocked basin in ensuite bathroom. On arrival - no toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, bin liners or any other nice to haves in booked accommodation. Dreadfully uncomfortable sofa - more comfortable sitting on a dining room chair. Apartment building awful - dreadful smell of sewerage on ground floor and in lift. We left after four nights after the property manager/owner agreeing to refund us for the last two nights (we have booked six nights) but have had no luck getting a refund. Very disappointing and have no idea how this apartment had good reviews.
