Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Chelsea Studio Sloane Avenue feels a bit like discovering a well-kept secret tucked away on one of London’s most prestigious streets. The building sits quietly among the elegant Victorian terraces, and honestly, you might walk past it if you weren’t looking carefully. It’s that understated Chelsea vibe — nothing flashy, just solid British charm with a modern twist that works surprisingly well.
The Studio Setup
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms, and that’s exactly the point. Each apartment feels more like staying in a friend’s stylish flat than a standard hotel room. The studios are cleverly designed with a proper kitchenette that actually has everything you need — not just a sad mini-fridge and kettle. I mean, you can cook a proper meal here if you want, though with Borough Market just a tube ride away, you’ll probably end up bringing back amazing ingredients to play with.
Location Perks
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally steps from Sloane Square, but tucked away enough to avoid the tourist chaos. The King’s Road is right there when you want to shop or people-watch, and South Kensington’s museums are an easy stroll away. I actually prefer this corner of Chelsea to some of the busier areas — it feels more residential and authentic.
The Neighborhood Experience
This four-star property sits in what locals consider one of the most walkable parts of Chelsea. There’s something satisfying about grabbing coffee from the little café around the corner, then wandering through the quiet garden squares that most tourists never find. The parking situation is typical London — challenging — but the tube connections more than make up for it. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to Harrods if that’s your thing, though I’d recommend exploring the smaller boutiques along the King’s Road instead.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it lets you live like a temporary Londoner rather than just visit as a tourist. The staff knows the area well and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations — not just the obvious tourist spots. The combination of independence (thanks to those well-equipped studios) and hotel services creates this perfect middle ground. You get the freedom to come and go as you please, maybe pick up fresh ingredients from Peter Jones food hall, but you also have housekeeping and someone to help when you need it. It’s particularly great for longer stays when you want to settle in properly rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons.

"Excellent location for London"
The flat is centrally located, fairly close to the Underground. It is located in a residential building.
The flat is not large (but still a good size for London) and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is well-furnished and the bathroom is well-stocked. The temperature control is independent and satisfactory (I stayed there in autumn-winter). The mattress is comfortable and new.
Check-in is independent and the instructions are clear.
What could be improved: The sound insulation is good, but could be improved.

"Comfortable studio flat in a very good location."
This is a comfortable studio apartment between South Kensington and Sloane Square tube stations. The bed was very comfortable, and as it faces the back, it was very quiet. The flat is in a complex with a reception (which is not necessary to use), and there is a Sainsbury store very near by. Obviously being a studio flat, the living space is small, but there is a decent enough kitchen with cooking facilities, a fridge and a washing machine. The bathroom is a reasonable size, with a shower over the bath which worked very well. The wifi was easy to use and was very quick. While there is no air conditioning two very good fans are provided. While I was travelling alone for one night, the flat is comfortable enough for two staying a few nights. This was a really good find, and I would stay here again.
What could be improved: To be honest, there was nothing really not to like. It's small, but probably bigger than many studio flats. It was a bit warm even in October, but the fans provided were very good quality. It was quite expensive, but not for London prices.

"Great value, great location, cute apartment"
Great location between South Kensington tube and Sloane Square tube. Cute studio apartment perfect for one guest. Might be a little small for 2 guests. Had everything I needed plus lots of hot water for the bath. Was quiet. Easy access on 2nd floor. Front desk staff very helpful. Apartment owner was very helpful as well.
What could be improved: One elevator wasn’t working but I could take stairs since on 2nd floor.

"Very good"
Great location close to underground. Very clean. Felt safe. Well set up inside with toiletries etc. Good communication from host. Excellent shower pressure and hot water. Comfortable pillows (and I am super fussy on those!)
What could be improved: A bit noisy from upstairs neighbours. Room got very hot and stuffy during the night, but to be fair, we could have opened a window (we just didn't realise it was possible until the morning).

"I travel a lot and I have to say that this was the best experience I have had in every sense."
A delightful apartment in an excellent location — quiet and tranquil while still being right in the centre of London. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully presented, making it a perfect base for both work and leisure.
The check-in process was seamless, with clear instructions and a convenient key lock box. The apartment is well equipped, with reliable WIFI, fans for warmer days, and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Small details, such as guidance on local amenities and transport, were very helpful and much appreciated.
The location is truly outstanding. Sloane Square and South Kensington are just a short walk away, with quick access to buses and the tube, making it easy to explore the whole city. There are excellent restaurants, bars, and cafes within minutes of the apartment, and world-class museums and galleries are also nearby.
The host was responsive and approachable, always available via WhatsApp, which gave great peace of mind during the stay.
Overall, this apartment offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
I will not hesitate to book this property next time and would highly recommend it to all travellers considering a stay in London.
What could be improved: Everything was perfect.

"Bright and comfortable studio in the heart of London. Highly recommended."
The location! — right in the heart of London with everything just a short walk away. The studio itself is filled with lots of natural light, creating a cheerful and peaceful atmosphere.
I had plenty of admin work to do during my stay, and the space was perfect - a comfortable table made working easy. Everything was spotless, and the hospitality was excellent.
The studio is so cosy and comfortable. There are two convenient lifts at the back of the building, and having Sainsbury’s grocery store only a few meters away was a real bonus.
A wonderful place to stay for both work and leisure - I would happily return.
What could be improved: Nothing!

"Enjoyable. Quite. Clean. Host makes it very easy…"
Location was fantastic
What could be improved: Lifts were unfortunately out of order

"Adequate"
It was clean and well presented, the owner is charming and helpful
What could be improved: It’s somewhat dated throughout, it needs some comfortable seating (the fold out chairs are rock hard, even with cushions on them so if you are working it’s uncomfortable. The fixed bed monopolises the space, a fold out from the wall would be far better, or a sofa bed.
