Overview
First Impressions
Cosy Views sits right on High Street in Newham, and honestly, the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. This three-star spot doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s straightforward, clean, and gets the job done without any fuss. The building itself blends into the streetscape, but once you’re inside, there’s a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel settled pretty quickly.
Location & Getting Around
You’re in proper East London here, which means you’re not in the tourist bubble but you’re also not stranded somewhere inconvenient. The High Street has that lived-in London feel — local shops, decent cafes, and people actually going about their daily business rather than posing for Instagram. Stratford’s just a short hop away, and if you need to get into central London, the transport links work well enough, though you’ll want to factor in a bit of travel time.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully arranged — they’ve clearly put some effort into making the most of the space. The bed was comfortable, and I actually slept really well, which isn’t always a given in London hotels. What struck me was how they’ve managed to create those “cosy views” they promise; even from a relatively modest height, you get glimpses of the neighborhood that somehow feel more authentic than staring at another hotel across the street.
Practical Matters
The staff here know what they’re doing — no pretense, just solid service when you need it. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, so I’d definitely ask about options when you book if you’re driving. The Wi-Fi worked fine, the shower had decent pressure, and the whole place felt properly maintained. It’s the kind of hotel where everything functions as it should, which is honestly more valuable than you might think.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Cosy Views isn’t going to change your life, but it does something quite valuable — it gives you a genuine taste of London living without breaking the bank or sticking you somewhere completely off the map. You’re staying in a real neighborhood, getting decent value for money, and dealing with people who actually care about running a good hotel. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring rather than lounging around the hotel anyway.
Guest reviews
"Brilliant location for Abba. We would recommend and would stay again if returning to the area."
Location was perfect for Abba Voyage. The flat was a 5 minute walk, easy to locate and was perfect for our stay. The flat had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Our host was very helpful, providing us with directions and ensuring he was at the flat to meet us. It was also close to Jim and tonic (a 4 minute walk) a lovely bar / restaurant which suited our plans.
What could be improved: Bathrooms a little old fashioned but they were clean and were not a problem.

"Would recommend for visits to this area of London."
This property was minutes walk from the ABBA arena. Lots of help from the host about finding the appt and picking up the key. There was everything we needed for our short stay. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottles of water and biscuits a nice touch.
What could be improved: Nothing.

"Fantastic value for money, pleasantly surprised."
Really lovely apartment, lot of thoughtful touches, water, tea, coffee, milks, biscuits, cleaning products, toilet paper etc. Nice and clean. Nice smelling too! Fan in bedroom, great! Absolutely fantastic for abba arena, 3minute walk. Very good value stay. Great communication throughout from the host.
What could be improved: Main Bathroom a little tired in places, but did not detract from stay at all, and was clean. Others have commented on TV not working but it does, it's streaming services not terrestrial TV, lots of options.

Proximity to ABBA as that was our reason for staying
What could be improved: Some of the windows were drafty which made heating ineffective

"Wonderful appartment"
Location wise it's great esp near the ABBA Voyage Arena ( 5 mins walk ) but also close to Stratford station to get to the other undergrounds that goes into London City Centre.
The appartment is just good for 4 people for a short stay , and the owner is very quick with answering if you got questions . The keys were handed over in person and he shows you around the place , good service .
The appartment is on the topfloor .
