Overview
First Impressions
Bright & Airy Flat with Stunning Rooftop Views is one of those places that makes you wonder why you ever bothered with traditional hotels. The name pretty much says it all, but honestly, I wasn’t prepared for just how spectacular those rooftop views actually are. You’re getting a proper London apartment experience here — not some cramped hotel room — and the difference is immediately obvious when you walk in.
Location & Neighborhood
Right on Earls Court Road in London, you’re perfectly positioned between the posh bits of Kensington and the more relaxed vibe of Earl’s Court itself. The Earl’s Court tube station is literally a few minutes’ walk, which means you can be in Covent Garden or Oxford Street in about 15 minutes. What I really love about this spot though is that you’ve got proper local life happening — there’s a brilliant little corner shop downstairs, and the whole street has this lived-in London feel that tourist areas often lack.
The Space
This four-star place feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed flat than any hotel I’ve experienced. The kitchen is actually functional — I mean, you can cook a proper meal here, not just heat up instant noodles. The living area flows naturally into the sleeping space, and there’s genuine storage for your things, which anyone who’s lived out of a suitcase will appreciate. The whole place gets incredible natural light during the day, making it feel twice as big as it probably is.
That Rooftop Experience
Now, about those rooftop views — they’re the real star here. You can see across west London’s rooftops, and on clear days, you’ll spot some of the city’s famous landmarks in the distance. I spent way too many evenings up there with a glass of wine, watching the sun set over the Victorian terraces. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel like a proper Londoner, even if you’re just visiting for a week.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.2 rating, this place clearly hits the mark for most people, and I get why. You’re not paying hotel prices for hotel restrictions — there’s no awkward breakfast timing, no tiny bottles of shampoo, no strange carpet patterns. Instead, you get the freedom of your own space in one of London’s most connected neighborhoods. The combination of practical living space and those incredible views makes it feel like you’re getting a glimpse of what living in London could actually be like.

"Exceptional"
The property was modern and comfortable! The location was perfect for what we needed - walking distance to Kensington Palace and the tube. The host, Thomas, was always available to answer any questions that we had - both before and during our trip!

It is a “ walk up” so you get a workout

Sheet option would be appreciated
Light switches were a bit confusing - easily fixable with an instruction sheet

"Great spot. Highly recommended"
Great location, clean facilities, host was great with communication
What could be improved: Not a negative for us but there were a lot of stairs as we were on the top floor but that had its positives for us

"Superb"
Very nicely furnished and decorated. Extremely convenient location.
What could be improved: The stairs leading to the apartment will be challenging if you have heavy luggage and not fit.

"Fabulous"
Beautifully appointed. Comfortable beds etc. would’ve loved to use the terrace but had the unfortunate luck to come to London during a heat wave!
Great location, convenient to the underground, good restaurants, and a bit more spacious than many of the properties I looked at. Great for a group or a family.
What could be improved: A bit noisy as we were street facing and had windows open for the heat. The stairs were fine for us, but be aware that if stairs are difficult for you, might not be your spot!

"Amazing London flat"
We stayed at this property for a few days and had an amazing experience! We were lucky to be the first guests after the renovation, and everything felt brand new and tastefully done. The terrace was a real highlight—peaceful and perfect for enjoying a sunset drink (a bit too chilly for dinner in April, though).
The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Holland Park and only about 4 minutes to nearby shops, which made everything super convenient.
Thomas was great—very friendly and incredibly responsive, which made the whole stay even better.
As frequent visitors to London, we’re used to the quirks of older buildings, like not having a lift. Just something to be aware of, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all.

"Lovely stay, great for friends and family :("
Excellent location and good value for money. The appartment is very nice and easy to find. A short walk to the nearest underground station, as well as many restaurants nearby. Communication with host was superb!
What could be improved: The stairs are not for people who find it difficult to walk, but for those who don't mind a little excercise it's no problem at all.
