Overview
First Impressions
The 3 Bed Flat in King’s Cross Station – Zone 1 sits right in the heart of one of London’s most transformed neighborhoods, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross Station — I mean, you can practically roll your suitcase there without breaking a sweat. The building itself is typical Victorian-era London housing, converted into modern flats, and while it’s not flashy, it has that authentic Camden character you’d expect from this three-star property.
The Space and Setup
This is a proper three-bedroom flat, not some cramped hotel room situation. Each bedroom is actually sized decently for London standards (which, let’s be real, isn’t saying much, but still). The kitchen is fully equipped — I was surprised by how well-stocked it was with everything from a proper oven to coffee-making essentials. You know what I appreciated most? The living area actually feels lived-in rather than sterile, with enough seating for your whole group to spread out after a long day of sightseeing.
Location Perks
King’s Cross has completely transformed over the past decade, and staying here puts you right in the middle of it all. Coal Drops Yard is just around the corner with its trendy shops and that excellent Sunday market. The British Library is a five-minute walk if you’re into that sort of thing, and honestly, the Eurostar terminal being so close is incredibly handy if you’re planning any day trips to Paris or Brussels. Plus, you’ve got the Central, Metropolitan, Northern, and Piccadilly lines all converging here — getting anywhere in London is ridiculously easy.
Neighborhood Feel
Camden’s grittier edges are still visible around here, which I actually found charming rather than off-putting. There’s a great mix of old-school London pubs, trendy coffee shops, and that famous Camden Market energy spilling over from the north. The Regent’s Canal runs nearby, and taking an evening walk along the towpath became our daily routine. You’ll find proper grocery stores within walking distance, which is essential when you’ve got kitchen access and want to save money on London’s restaurant prices.
Why Guests Appreciate It
This flat works particularly well for groups or families who want space to breathe and the flexibility of self-catering. The 7.6 rating reflects what you’d expect — it’s clean, functional, and well-located, but don’t expect luxury touches or hotel-style service. What you get instead is value and independence in Zone 1, which is increasingly rare in London. The fact that you can cook breakfast, store leftovers, and have separate sleeping spaces makes longer stays much more comfortable than cramming everyone into adjacent hotel rooms.

What could be improved: Code lock on the front door was a bit tricky to get right!

"Excellent choice for our family of 4 - we will be definitely be back"
The flat was spotless and very clean throughout, which made our stay really comfortable. The location was excellent, giving us easy access to everything we needed. It was warm, cozy, and well laid out for a family of four.
The kitchen had great facilities, with a good fridge freezer, which made it easy to prepare meals for the kids. We were able to eat together comfortably at mealtimes. The bathroom was also spotless, and while the sink was located in a different room, we didn’t find this to be a problem—more a feature of an older-style apartment, and quite novel.
The sleeping arrangements worked well, and both the TV and Wi-Fi were excellent. The setting was relatively quiet and peaceful, which made for a restful stay. Overall, it was a perfect fit for our family.
If you’re looking for a modern, sleek apartment in a glossy part of London, this may not be for you. But if you’re happy with an older style, this flat is a fantastic option at a great price. We loved it and we will definitely return if back in London!
What could be improved: The check-in process was slightly confusing at first. We were told to expect an email, which never arrived, but once we did receive the instructions, they were very clear with good pictures—so I’d recommend just ignoring that initial mention of an email.
The neighbor’s TV at 7:30 a.m. might disturb light sleepers, though it didn’t really bother us.
The main negative was the front door lock, which definitely needs attention. We managed to get it working, but it took a bit of effort and know-how. If you’re not used to fiddly electronic key pads, it could be frustrating. The door itself also doesn’t feel very secure. Personally, I felt comfortable in the area and never had any concerns about safety.

"Very clean, great amenities and amazing location"
The place was very clean and in a great neighborhood. The attention to detail in the amenities was impeccable
What could be improved: Only issue is the outside of the building and the fact that the toilet is separate from the rest of the bathroom.

"Fabulous flat great location check in more stressful than it needs to be"
The property is in a fantastic location. Minutes away from train station. Really comfortable beds and lots of space. Everything you need.
What could be improved: The check in was awkward. There are pictures and a video telling you how to access the property, but they are sent minutes before check in. We were out and about and had limited WiFi access so this was a problem. The videos and instructions should be sent the day before, to make the process easier and less stressful. You can't access the property until you have the codes, so providing the video the day before would not allow access before the flat is ready, but it would at least give some reassurance to the client. The codes could still be provided at the last minute.

"Family overnight stay"
Perfect location close to St Pancras
Comfy beds
What could be improved: Didn’t get a response to a question regarding tea coffee etc until after we’d checked out.
Although everything was good, I was a little nervous about not having good response times to questions.
Front door code is touch snd not all the numbers always showed up so we struggled to get in on one occasion. But when it worked it worked well.

"Great location, very comfortable stay."
Location fantastic just a short walk from Kings Cross Station. Host super responsive during our stay.
What could be improved: Some issues with the door codes access, sorted immediately. One of the flat neighbours had their tv super loud 7.30am and after 10.30, but clearly not the flat owners fault.
A walk in shower would add accessibility to less mobile guests.

"I will like to come back with my family for another stay"
The price was very affordable for the duration of my stay, The Host was very courteous and helpful . The facilities in the kitchen and rooms were excellent , proximity to the city center and underground station. I wish I had come with stuffs to cook cos it felt like home.
What could be improved: The heating system in the room was working but I still felt very cold. The WIFI signal in the room was not strong enough, the speed was average, the toilet did not have a wash hand basin
