Newly Furnished Apt w/ Patios – Hampstead Heath
First Impressions
You know what struck me about Newly Furnished Apt w/ Patios – Hampstead Heath? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name. Walking into this four-star apartment on College Yard, I could smell the newness — fresh paint, clean carpets, that satisfying scent of a place that’s been thoughtfully put together. The patios (yes, plural) immediately caught my eye, and honestly, they’re what make this place special in a city where outdoor space is basically gold.
Location Magic
Being in Camden but practically on Hampstead Heath’s doorstep is pretty brilliant, actually. I mean, you get the best of both worlds here — you can grab your morning coffee from the local spots on Kentish Town Road, then be walking through one of London‘s most beautiful green spaces within five minutes. The Heath isn’t just a park, it’s this sprawling wilderness where you can actually forget you’re in a massive city. I watched people swimming in the ponds from one of the patios, which felt surreal in the best way.
The Space Itself
The room layout works really well — it’s clearly been designed by someone who understands how people actually live and move through a space. The kitchenette is compact but has everything you need (proper coffee maker, thank goodness), and the furnishings feel contemporary without being cold. What I loved most were those patios — one catches morning light, the other gets afternoon sun, so you’re basically guaranteed outdoor time regardless of your schedule.
Neighborhood Feel
College Yard itself is this quiet little enclave that feels almost village-like, which is remarkable considering you’re still very much in London. The neighbors seem to know each other, there’s actual community feel here. Gospel Oak station is close enough for easy transport links, but far enough that you don’t get the constant rumble of trains. I actually found myself lingering in the area longer than planned — there’s something about the rhythm of this part of Camden that just works.
Why Guests Love It
Look, a 9.8 rating doesn’t happen by accident, and after staying here, I get it completely. It’s that combination of having your own proper space (with outdoor areas that most Londoners would kill for) while being positioned perfectly for both urban exploration and nature escapes. The apartment feels like a real home rather than a hotel room, but with all the fresh, clean comfort of somewhere that’s been professionally maintained. Plus, there’s something deeply satisfying about making your morning tea in the kitchenette, then taking it out to the patio while planning your day on the Heath.
