Beautuful 2 bed apartment in central London sits on a quiet residential street in Fulham that honestly feels more like a local neighborhood than touristy London. When I first walked up to 58A Anselm Road, I was surprised by how peaceful it felt — you know, one of those tree-lined streets where you actually hear birds instead of constant traffic. This four-star apartment delivers exactly what it promises: a proper home base that doesn’t feel like you’re staying in someone else’s space.
The Space Itself
The two-bedroom setup works really well, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends who actually want some space from each other. I mean, the main bedroom is genuinely spacious, and the second room isn’t one of those afterthought spaces — it’s actually comfortable. The kitchen surprised me most; it’s fully equipped with everything you need, including a proper-sized fridge and decent cookware (rare in London rentals, honestly).
Location & Getting Around
Fulham’s one of those areas that locals love but tourists often miss, and that’s actually perfect for this kind of stay. You’re about a 10-minute walk to Fulham Broadway station, which gets you into central London quickly on the District line. The neighborhood itself has character — independent cafes, the kind of pubs where you might end up chatting with regulars, and Bishops Park along the Thames is just a short stroll away.
What Makes It Work
There’s something refreshing about having your own front door key instead of checking in at a hotel desk. The parking situation is manageable if you’re driving (street parking with resident permits), though honestly, you probably won’t need a car much. The apartment feels lived-in but well-maintained — not that sterile hotel atmosphere where everything’s been sanitized of personality. Small touches like having a washing machine and proper storage space make longer stays actually pleasant.

"Superb"
Great apartment in a nice quiet location. Comfy bed and pillows. Good shower and separate toilet. Close to the tube, supermarket and fast food.
What could be improved: Not too much to fault here but we would've liked a sharp knife, a chopping board and some thick fluffy towels.

The apartment was modern, clean and bright. Most of one's needs were provided for, and we did not have to worry about much. It was unfortunate that the coffemaker was leaking but the host replaced it immediately. Though a bit chilly it was very nice to have a courtyard right by the kitchen. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it to anyone.
What could be improved: Unfortunately the coffee Plunger was leaking. The host did respond quickly and despite my sending a picture, the replacement was only big enough for one person, when the apartment can host at least 4-5 persons.
Also the lounge/sitting area very small, though cosy.

The location was amazing. Easy access to the Piccadilly and district lines. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the immediate area.

The apartment was wonderful! Comfortable, well stocked, super clean. The garden patio was the perfect spot for morning coffee and late evening drinks.

"Perfect local flat in Fulham for family stay"
Everything was perfect!
Starting with location - Fulham, safe and calm area, close to Central Line tube station West Brompton. Central Line is the one, which leads you through the heart of the London (from South Kensington through Westminster to Tower,...).
Secondly - contact with the owner was very smooth and everything was clearly explained even without even meeting her.
Then - the accommodation itself - flat is located in the classic local district house half a floor below the sidewalk level. This is not noticable inside of flat, as kitchen has a small garden outside, so you do not have a feeling being in a cellar. This half a floor below is common location of flats in whole area. Flat has two separate bedrooms both with King size bed, ideal for family of four. Both bedrooms has blinds. Kitchen was equipped with everything you might need, even for a longer stay, not only few days. Really everything. Outside sitting area in calm garden was not used by us due to winter time visit, but I can easily imagine myself drinking a glass of wine in the summer evening after a day spent in the city.
Bathroom & Toilet - no isse at all. Hot water is provided by local boiler, no issue to cover the consumption of showering four member family one-by-one. Central heating is operated by the same boiler, so just turn it on if you are not an English guy :)
Flat is well maintained, if any negatives were find they are so unimportant I am not reffering them at all. Really, nothing to complain, we were highly satisfied and when travelling to London again, we will firstly check availability of this property.
Shoping locations (groceries) are nearby, 5-10min by a nice walk through area.
What could be improved: The only one recommendation - landlord should clean radiators, inside of them is significant amount of dust, easily visible by eyes. Not just wipe their surface but to open their cover and vacuum the dust out of them. This was the only one "optical" complain, but it does not affect our stay at all. I believe this negative point will be improved.

"Wonderful apartment in the heart of Fulham"
Beautifully located in the heart of Fulham. Quiet. Very well furnished and equipped. Lovely and very thoughtful host. Very nice restaurants and cafés around. We enjoyed our stay very much.
