Overview

First Impressions

When I first spotted Arte Stays – 3-Bedroom Bright House London, Haggerston, Garden, Parking, 8 min walk to Haggerston Station, weekly or monthly stays, serviced accommodation – 7 guests tucked away on Samuel Close, I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much from this quiet residential street in Hackney. But stepping inside this four-star serviced accommodation completely changed my perspective. The space feels genuinely homey rather than hotel-sterile, with plenty of natural light flooding through large windows that make the whole place feel bigger than it actually is.

The Space That Works

What struck me most was how thoughtfully laid out everything is — you’ve got three proper bedrooms that can easily sleep seven people without anyone feeling cramped. The main living area flows naturally into a well-equipped kitchen where you can actually cook real meals, not just reheat takeaway. There’s something refreshing about having counter space and a full-sized fridge when you’re staying somewhere for more than a few nights. The whole setup feels like borrowing a friend’s place rather than checking into generic accommodation.

Location and Getting Around

Honestly, Haggerston isn’t the first area most tourists think of, but that’s exactly what makes it interesting. You’re genuinely living like a local here — the eight-minute walk to Haggerston Station is accurate (I timed it), and from there you can reach central London in about twenty minutes. What I really appreciated was having actual parking included, which anyone who’s driven in London will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The neighborhood has that authentic East London vibe without feeling touristy or sanitized.

The Garden and Outdoor Space

The private garden was probably my favorite surprise — it’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for morning coffee or evening drinks after a day exploring the city. There’s something oddly satisfying about having your own outdoor space in London, even if it’s modest. I found myself using it more than I expected, especially since the surrounding area is fairly quiet despite being so well-connected to everything. It’s the kind of detail that makes a longer stay feel more like living somewhere rather than just visiting.

Why Guests Love It

This place really shines for anyone staying more than a few days — the weekly and monthly rates make sense when you factor in what you’re getting. You know what impressed me most? The little touches that show someone actually thought about how people live day-to-day, like proper storage in each room and a dining table where everyone can actually sit together. It’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, just genuinely comfortable and practical. For families or groups who want space to spread out while staying connected to London proper, it’s honestly hard to beat this setup.

"Exceptional"
We had a fantastic stay in this lovely London apartment! It was perfect for our family – clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The space was exactly as described, and had everything we needed for a smooth and relaxing stay, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to unwind. The location was great too – easy access to transport, shops, and local attractions, but quiet enough to feel like a real home away from home. Communication with the host was seamless, and they were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for any families looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in London. We would definitely come back!

Easy to get the keys. Short walk to Overground station. Short walk to bus station. Close to a Tesco store for grocery shopping. Close to Dalston junction where you can find a shopping mall. Nice park behind the property. Warm because we visited in the winter. Lots of bedding. Clean bath. Clean kitchen. Enough utensils. Huge fridge. Everything was good.
What could be improved: The neighbors were just a bit noisy one evening for half an hour but this can happen in a hotel too or worse. The house has just one toilette but you can make do.

"Charming and well-equipped property with a host who goes the extra mile."
Our stay at this property was overall delightful. The lovely, clean environment made for a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The interior was very presentable and decorated with a tasteful touch, adding to the overall charm of the place. The location was fantastic, conveniently close to the overground, making it easy to explore the city. The house itself was well-equipped with all the amenities one could need, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. What truly set this experience apart was the owner's exceptional hospitality. They were easily reachable and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From providing detailed instructions on the property's location to offering insightful recommendations for places to visit nearby, the owner's warmth and helpfulness truly made my stay memorable. In summary, if you're looking for a clean, well-decorated property with great amenities in a good location with a helpful owner, this is the place for you.
What could be improved: However, we did encounter a minor issue with parking. With spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis, we found ourselves driving around in search of a spot. While this was a bit inconvenient, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

"Nice stay for a group of people"
Easy check in, detailed instructions, helpful hosts who were helping quickly with all the issues. Nice living room useful when travelling with a group of people. Big kitchen if you want to prepare meals.
What could be improved: Very small bathroom and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. More towels would be useful. The flat looks in reality slightly worse than on the photos. Still a good choice for a few days.

"Great location - quiet spot but in the centre of East London"
Fantastic spot for 4 adults looking to stay in the heart of East London close to family and lots of fantastic restaurants. We had tickets to ABBA Voyage and this was a great location for getting out to Stratford too. Brilliant contact and information from the hosts too!

"Comfortable stay in Hackney"
The house was really conveniently located to visit family in the area and a reasonably short walk to the overground station. The house was really clean and provided all the basic amenities. It was helpful to have a separate loo and shower so everyone could be accommodated. The host was really helpful and responsive.
What could be improved: Overall it was a comfortable stay - the bedrooms can get very light in the morning so bring an eye mask. Depending on what your reason for being in London is, the area isn't exactly buzzing, but it worked really well for us.
