Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Accomodo London Soho – Elegant Apartments near Carnaby Street and Oxford Street on Poland Street, you immediately get that feeling you’re in the thick of things. I mean, this is proper Soho — not some tourist version of it, but the real deal where creative types actually work and live. The building itself has that understated London charm, nothing flashy, but you can tell it’s been thoughtfully converted into serviced apartments.
Location & Getting Around
Honestly, the location is what sold me on this place. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Carnaby Street, and Oxford Circus station is just around the corner. But here’s what I really loved — you can duck into all these little side streets and discover proper Soho gems that most tourists never find. The apartment puts you right in the middle of everything, yet Poland Street itself is surprisingly quiet for the area. You know what’s brilliant? Liberty department store is practically next door, and those gorgeous fabric displays in their windows never get old.
The Apartment Experience
This three-star setup actually works really well if you want more space than a typical hotel room. The apartments are clean and modern, though I’d say they’re more functional than fancy — which honestly fits the Soho vibe perfectly. What I appreciated was having a proper kitchenette where you could make coffee in the morning or store those late-night takeaways from Chinatown. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you’re working remotely or just trying to figure out London’s endless restaurant options.
Exploring the Neighborhood
Being in London‘s creative heart means you’re surrounded by independent shops, galleries, and some seriously good food. I spent hours just wandering through the maze of streets between here and Covent Garden. The energy shifts throughout the day — quiet mornings give way to bustling afternoons as the area fills up with shoppers and office workers. Evening brings a completely different crowd heading to the theaters and pubs. There’s street parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in central London, though honestly, you won’t need a car from here.
Why Guests Love It
What works about this place is the balance — you get apartment-style independence without being stuck in some soulless corporate building. The 7.4 rating reflects what you’d expect: solid, reliable accommodation that does exactly what it promises. It’s not trying to be the Ritz, and that’s actually refreshing. You’re paying for the location and the freedom to come and go as you please, plus having your own space to decompress after long days exploring London. For the price point and the area, it delivers on giving you a genuine Soho experience rather than just a place to sleep.

"Very good"
Location was really good. And well equipped with what we needed.
What could be improved: A few tiny things would have helped like supplying a tea towel.

"Nice"
Quiet despite being in the heart of Soho.
What could be improved: The appartment has seen better times, bit faded.

Everything we needed in a good location
What could be improved: The noise prevented us from sleeping both nights of our stay, to the point we had to have the TV on with earphones in to drown out the noise from the club/surrounding bars. The first night until 5am there was a lot of noise, which started again before 8am with local deliveries.

"Perfect location, comfy and warm."
Location couldn’t be better. It’s in the heart of London. Totally worth it spending more money and having everything close by. Didn’t need to take the tube nor the bus to see plenty of famous landmarks. Extraordinarily confortable for travelling with a 2 year old. Lift made easy for us to take the pushchair upon the first floor, where the flat was. High chair for the baby was really useful. The place was comfy and warm with the heaters on (one in the living room and another in the bedroom), but for the bathroom. Overall, really nice 3 nights stay.
What could be improved: A few things were poorly amended… one of the blinds in the loving room was broken on the floor, with the screws around (a bit dangerous for our toddler). The bar holding the bathtub’s curtains was also broken and poorly fixed with tape. The window in the bathroom didn’t properly shut, which let the cold in.

I liked the excellent position of the apartment! Totally worth the cost. The host was available for everything and the apartment is in really good conditions
What could be improved: We were 4 in the house and the 4th bed was definitely uncomfortable because it was a kind of unopened sofa-bed but it was still fine overall

"Very good"
On the positive side, the location was excellent, and the apartment had a beautiful, modern interior. The size and layout of the apartment were great, and the bed was very comfortable. We also liked the TV, and the communication with the host was very good. The heating worked well and kept the apartment warm, and the kitchen was adequately equipped. Overall, we felt comfortable during our stay.
What could be improved: Several issues affected our stay. The doors were squeaky, and some windows (in the bathroom, hallway, and kitchen) couldn’t be locked. The curtains rattled loudly whenever we aired out the rooms, and the carpet was quite dirty. The bathroom fixtures were difficult to regulate – the water was either extremely hot or cold – and the sink faucet splashed water everywhere if turned on too strongly. There was also no power outlet in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient. The clock on the wall didn’t work, and the entrance hallway was very unclean. A full-body mirror in the hallway was also missing.

What could be improved: On arrival there were no keys in the lock box - they had been mistakenly left inside the room by a cleaner. I called the customer service number provided 3 times with no answer. It was only by chance and luck! that there were still cleaners in the building that i could ask about the problem - someone then was able to open the room and provide me with the set of keys.
I fear if they hadn't been there, i would have been left trying to call the emergency number (which was going unanswered when i first called initially) to try and resolve the problem. Not the most ideal start to my stay but was thankfully resolved quickly.

"Great location, very loud neighborhood"
Location! Absolutely amazing, everything is walking distance, truly enjoyed it
What could be improved: Noise. And I can’t emphasize enough how bad the noise was. It’s like people from the street were literally in the same room with us. If you like to party and go out till late morning hours this is the place for you- they have amazing pubs and Soho house party right across the street. But if you don’t this isn’t a place for you.
Also, no hangers for towels in the bathroom, this should really be a basic thing
