3 x Bedroom Riverside Flat with HOT TUB on Roof Terrace
First Impressions
When I first stepped into 3 x Bedroom Riverside Flat with HOT TUB on Roof Terrace, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another London rental listing. But this four-star place in Tower Hamlets actually surprised me — it’s got character that most cookie-cutter accommodations just don’t have. The building itself is modern but feels lived-in, if you know what I mean, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try too hard to impress you in the lobby.
The Space Itself
The apartment is genuinely spacious by London standards, which is saying something. Three proper bedrooms mean you’re not playing Tetris with luggage, and each room actually has enough space to move around — I mean, you can fully open a suitcase without having to rearrange furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped too, though I’ll be honest, I mostly used it for morning coffee and storing takeaway leftovers from the incredible curry places nearby.
That Roof Terrace
But here’s the thing everyone comes for — that hot tub on the roof terrace is absolutely worth it. After spending days walking around London (and trust me, you’ll walk more than you think), soaking up there while looking out over the Thames is pretty special. The views aren’t postcard-perfect, but they’re real London views — you can see the river, some of Canary Wharf’s towers, and just enough urban sprawl to remind you where you are. Best time is definitely evening when the city lights start coming on.
Location & Getting Around
Tower Hamlets might not sound glamorous, but this spot near Coldharbour actually works really well. You’re close enough to central London that the DLR gets you to Bank or Canary Wharf pretty quickly, but far enough out that you get a sense of how actual Londoners live. There’s a Tesco nearby for basics, and honestly, some of the best Bengali food I’ve had outside of Bangladesh is within walking distance — the locals weren’t kidding about that.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea if you need to be in the heart of Westminster or Covent Garden every night. But if you want space to spread out, that hot tub experience, and parking that doesn’t cost more than your dinner, it’s a solid choice. The 9.6 rating makes sense — it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. Just bring some wine for the roof terrace sessions, and maybe download some good music beforehand because the city sounds from up there are part of the charm.
London’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike routes to hidden mews streets.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
