Overview
First Impressions
Victoria Studios sits on Edgware Road in a way that feels both connected to central London and refreshingly removed from the tourist chaos. When I first walked up to this three-star property, I’ll be honest — it’s not going to win any architectural awards, but there’s something reassuring about its straightforward approach. You know exactly what you’re getting here, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
The Studios Themselves
Each room is actually a proper studio setup, which I really appreciated. The kitchenette situation is pretty decent — I mean, you’re not going to be hosting dinner parties, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling cramped. The layout makes good use of the space, and honestly, after staying in some of those shoebox hotels in Zone 1, having room to actually unpack felt like a small victory.
Location and Getting Around
Here’s where Victoria Studios actually shines — the Edgware Road location is one of those London secrets that locals understand but tourists often miss. You’re on the Bakerloo line at Kilburn Park station (about a 5-minute walk), which gets you to Oxford Circus in roughly 15 minutes. But what I really loved was the neighborhood itself — there’s this brilliant mix of Middle Eastern shops and cafes that stay open late, plus you’re close enough to Little Venice that you can walk there on a nice evening.
The Practical Stuff
The parking situation is better than most places in London, though you’ll still need to plan ahead. What impressed me was how the staff handled the small stuff — they actually seemed to care about making sure everything worked properly. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, and when I had a minor issue with the shower, they sorted it out the same day. It’s that kind of no-fuss efficiency that makes a three-star place feel more valuable than some pricier options I’ve tried.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Victoria Studios isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works. You get proper value for money in a part of London that feels authentic without being inconvenient. The studios give you just enough independence to feel settled, whether you’re staying for business or exploring the city. Plus, there’s something to be said for being able to grab amazing Lebanese food at 10 PM just by walking downstairs — that’s the kind of London experience you can’t get in the tourist zones.

"A nice apartment for short stay"
The apartment size is decent, very clean washroom with all toiletries. Good kitchen area with necessities. 8-10 minutes walk to Brent Cross West train station. Bus stops are nearby.
What could be improved: The bed size was a bit small. The location is not very good. The building is behind a gas station and car wash which can be disturbing at times.

"Great location, nice place to stay and a great price. Shame about the shower, looks nice but a nice warm shower would ha"
The property was nice and clean and well decorated. The property had everything you need for a night or twos stay and a great location to Wembley stadium.
What could be improved: I ran the shower in the morning to let it warm up before I got in after about 15 minutes the shower still did not get even warm, I had to have a completely cold shower which was less than ideal. This really let the property down as other than this my stay was perfect.
