The apartment itself really surprised me. I mean, when you hear “maisonette” you think compact, but there’s genuine breathing room here. The layout flows naturally between living and sleeping areas, and the kitchen is actually functional — not one of those hotel afterthoughts with a mini-fridge and hope. The windows let in decent light, which in London feels like winning the lottery sometimes.

Upper Tachbrook Street isn’t flashy, but it works. You’re a proper walk to Victoria Station — maybe ten minutes if you’re moving with purpose. The Pimlico tube is closer, which locals will tell you is often the smarter choice anyway. There’s a Sainsbury’s practically next door, and honestly, that matters more than you’d think when you’re staying somewhere with cooking facilities.

This part of Westminster has that residential vibe that most hotel zones completely lack. You’ll see people walking dogs, grabbing coffee at the corner café, living actual London life. What could be improved: it was very tired the couch was so uncomfortable, the toilet on its own was very untidy and used fot storage. the pillows are very uncomfortable and low.

"Superb"
We loved our stay. It was very spacious, and we especially appreciated having multiple bathrooms. It was hot during our stay, and we were grateful that there were fans in both bedrooms and the living room. The host was very responsive and helpful when we reached out with questions. It was in a quiet area, yet walkable to Victoria Station.

What could be improved: If you are driving, make sure to heed their advice about going to the nearby bakery as your drop off point. There is NO CHANCE of dropping off in front of the listed address.

"Great hosts, great location and great value"
Good location It is above a restaurant so I was a little worried about noise/smell but it was fine
What could be improved: Not sure if we could have used the washer/dryer There were sheets etc on top
If there was a notebook with information about how things in apartment work (never got coffee machine to work), things to do, places to eats etc in the neighborhood that would be nice

Clean and great check in time
What could be improved: Nothing really .. just few small points
Toilet seat in shower room loose
Oh and a salad bowl would be really useful

"Overall,lovely accomdation and host"
Location was great! Very close to the Victoria Metro, but also walking distance to many places. Grocery and restaurants very close. Also, quite spacious for a family of 5 - especially having 2 1/2 bathrooms!
What could be improved: A few minor things that really didnt affect our time in London. A bathroom light wasnt working for a few days but was fixed our host. And we were not able to figure out seeing more than one TV option.

"Great first trip to London for our family of 7!"
The location was excellent. Near the tube. Near lots of restaurants and sites. Very clean. Plenty of room for our group of 7.
Room to relax and prepare food. The management was very responsive. We had a few small requests and they responded quickly. I would recommend this place to friends and family to stay.
What could be improved: Very minor: there were no hand towels or kitchen towels. We contacted the property and they quickly brought more towels over.

"Lovely stay in the centre of London with easy access to bars restaurants and shops."
Location is perfect. The apartment was generally well-equipped and to our needs.
What could be improved: Hairdryer and mirror not provided. Instructions on how to use the TV (we couldn't get it to work). Instructions on how to access the wifi. Again, didnt. work.

"Would stay here again!"
Property was bigger than expected and was perfect for our big group of people! Location was very central and was within walking distance from London Victoria station. The price was also extremely reasonable.
What could be improved: The Wifi was a bit spotty, but other than that, it was great.
