Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Two bed Two bath Kensington Apartment on South End Row, you immediately get that feeling of stepping into proper London living. This isn’t your typical hotel experience — it’s more like borrowing a friend’s really nice place in one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. The building has that classic Kensington charm without being stuffy about it, and honestly, the address alone tells you you’re in for something special.
The Space
What strikes you first is how much room you actually get here. Two proper bedrooms and two full bathrooms mean you’re not doing that awkward hotel dance around each other if you’re traveling with family or friends. The apartment feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile — there’s a proper kitchen where you can actually cook (and I mean really cook, not just heat up instant noodles). The whole setup works perfectly for longer stays, though honestly, even for a few nights, having your own space to spread out makes all the difference.
Location Magic
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in London’s most elegant borough, but it doesn’t feel touristy. South End Row puts you within easy walking distance of Hyde Park — and I mean the good bit, near the Albert Memorial and the Serpentine. Kensington High Street is just around the corner when you need proper shops, but you’re tucked away enough that it stays quiet at night. The tube connections are solid too, which matters when you’re trying to get anywhere in London without losing your mind.
The Neighborhood Feel
What I really appreciate is how this four-star place lets you live like a local in Kensington rather than just visiting it. There’s a lovely little restaurant scene within walking distance — nothing too fancy, just good neighborhood spots where you can grab a decent meal without the West End prices. The tree-lined streets around here are perfect for morning coffee runs, and you’ll find yourself taking the long way back just because the area is so pleasant to wander through.
Why Guests Love It
The thing about Two bed Two bath Kensington Apartment is that it gives you the best of both worlds — hotel-level service and standards, but with the freedom and space of having your own place. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense when you consider what you’re getting for the money. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top; it’s just really, really good at being exactly what it is. Whether you’re here for business, sightseeing, or just want to experience London from a proper residential base, this place delivers without any fuss or drama.
Locals suggest to book apartments in London around South Bank for riverside dining, market stops, and easy city crossings.

"Walking distance to Hyde Park, cafes, restaurants, shopping, High Street Kensington Underground"
Location! Safe, gated, community within walking distance to multiple cafes, restaurants, shopping, and the High Street Kensington underground station.
Highly recommend Dishoom & High Street Market Kensington for amazing eats!
What could be improved: Arriving with kids after a red eye flight from Atlanta to locate the key at a different location.
The mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable with nightly metal springs in our backs.
The shower is the master bedroom was very finicky- either freezing or piping hot.
The washer/dryer combo heated up the entire place and ruined my daughter’s brand new clothes.
For what I paid in USD- it was $500 nightly and for the lack of comfort was not worth the price tag. Even in pounds, the place was still $400 nightly.
London gets HOT in June! 86 degrees on our last day and we were sweating even with windows/doors open and fans on.

"Excellent location, look, comfort and value"
Spacious sitting-dining area with nice window views. All kitchen equipment in place. Plenty of storage space. Short 6-8 min walk from the tube in a good central location. Very accommodating host.
What could be improved: Please keep some extra toilet and kitchen rolls, and some salt-pepper. We had our own tea bags and coffee sachets so that was ok.

"A perfect stay — clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described, in an excellent location."
We had an excellent stay. The apartment was clean, modern, and exactly as shown in the photos. Great location, close to transport and shops. It comfortably accommodated our family of five, with two bedrooms, a sofa bed, and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine with dryer, and ironing board. WiFi and Netflix worked perfectly. Highly recommended.
What could be improved: Not applicable. It was perfect.

Everything was perfect, the apartment was clean and tidy, very spacious and calm.
Just a short walk to High Street Kensington, lovely restaurants and shops nearby.
What could be improved: Some more lamps in the living room would make it even cosier.

"A stay for its good location"
Location of the apartment was great, there is a provision shop near by that opens early and opened till late. There're nearby pubs and eateries and if you're a fan of Dishoom, it's practically round the corner. It is also near to High Street Kensington and 8-10mins walk to the train station. Like it that the station is on the Circle Line, where most of the attractions are, so it's really convenient.
Host was also friendly and gave clear directions along with photos on how to get to the apartment.
What could be improved: The apartment could do with additional amenities, a shower head that is descaled, tap that works.
