Overview
First Impressions
Twickenham Stadium Studio sits right in the heart of rugby country, and honestly, you can’t miss the excitement in the air when you arrive. The building itself is modern and unassuming, but there’s something special about staying this close to the home of rugby — I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from where England plays their biggest matches. It’s a three-star place that doesn’t try to be anything it’s not, which I actually appreciated.
The Studio Setup
The room is essentially a well-designed studio that makes smart use of every inch of space. You’ve got a compact kitchenette that’s surprisingly functional — perfect for brewing morning coffee or heating up something quick after a long day exploring. The bed is comfortable enough, and there’s a decent-sized window that lets in plenty of natural light. What struck me most was how clean and modern everything felt, even if the space is on the smaller side.
Location Magic
Here’s where this place really shines — the location in Twickenham is absolutely brilliant if you know what you’re doing. You’re walking distance from Twickenham Stadium (obviously), but what most people don’t realize is how well-connected this area is to central London. The train links are solid, and you’ll find yourself in the city center faster than you’d expect. Plus, there’s actually some decent parking around here, which is gold dust in this part of London.
Local Character
Twickenham has this lovely village feel that surprises a lot of visitors — it’s not just about rugby, though that’s obviously the main draw. There are some proper pubs within walking distance where locals gather, especially on match days when the atmosphere becomes electric. The area along the Thames is genuinely beautiful for a morning walk, and you’ll find some hidden gems if you venture toward Twickenham Green. It’s one of those neighborhoods that feels authentically London without the tourist crowds.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a fancy hotel with a spa or elaborate breakfast spread, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The value is solid for what you get — a clean, functional space in a fantastic location that won’t break the bank. Rugby fans obviously love being so close to the action, but I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a different side of London while still having easy access to the main attractions. The kitchenette means you’re not tied to expensive hotel dining, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a proper London base than a tourist bubble.

The location was perfect, giving off the feeling of a peaceful cabin retreat in the woods, especially with the winter vibes.
Definitely coming back in the future
What could be improved: There’s some plane noise, as expected in Twickenham, but nothing worth complaining about.

"Very good"
The stay was ideal for someone working away. Parking was in a quiet cul de sac. I did not see the proprietor. Fridge, microwave and tea making facilities were available. A stones throw from the rugby ground. Five minute drive to the town centre.

"We had a great stay, it was perfect for our one night. It was clean, tidy and the communication from the host was great"
It was very close to Twickenham Stadium, there were thoughtful extras like water bottles, a small fridge and a fan.
What could be improved: It was warm so without the fan would have been uncomfortable. There was no knives and one of the cups had a crack down it but these were minor issues and we improvised so no worries at all. I merely mention it so the hosts are aware.

"Brilliant location if visiting g for a rugby match!"
Studio was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location for the rugby!
What could be improved: Whilst there were many positives, the toilet seat was broken, there was a lack of cutlery (no knife) and the actual door of the studio did not lock either from outside or inside. A great addition would also be some glasses.
