When I first stumbled upon Trafalgar SQ 1 Bedr, 3 Beds sleeps 6, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what seemed like just another apartment rental. But stepping into this four-star space tucked away on Bull Inn Court changed my perspective completely. The location hit me immediately — you’re literally a two-minute walk from Trafalgar Square, which means you can actually hear the distant hum of London life without being right in the chaos.
The Space That Works
This isn’t your typical cramped London apartment situation. The layout actually makes sense for six people, with a proper bedroom and additional sleeping arrangements that don’t feel like afterthoughts. What impressed me most was the kitchen — it’s equipped well enough that you can skip overpriced tourist meals and actually cook something decent. The living area connects naturally to everything else, so you’re not bumping into each other constantly.
Location Reality Check
Westminster Borough sounds fancy, and honestly, it kind of is. You’re positioned perfectly between Covent Garden’s energy and the more refined government district vibes. I mean, Charing Cross station is right there, so getting anywhere in London becomes straightforward rather than the usual Tube nightmare. The neighborhood itself has this interesting mix — tourists during the day, but it quiets down enough at night that you can actually sleep.
What Actually Matters
The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience the details that matter. Hot water pressure is solid (crucial after walking London all day), and the Wi-Fi actually works reliably. Storage space exists — not abundant, but enough that six people aren’t living out of suitcases stacked in corners. The building itself feels secure without being overly fussy about access.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
You know what really sells this place? It’s that sweet spot between hotel convenience and home comfort. You get the independence to explore London at your own pace, grab groceries at the nearby Tesco, and collapse somewhere that actually feels livable. The proximity to major attractions means less time on transport and more time doing whatever brought you to London in the first place. For groups especially, having space to spread out while staying centrally located — that’s worth the investment.

"Comfort in the centre of Covent Garden"
Absolutely great location. Down a lane way, there's a bit of noise from the pub but that beats street noise any day. Very comfortable and great communication from manager
What could be improved: Not a dislike but as some have said, there's no powerpoint in the bathroom so drying hair means finding another powerpoint

"Wondering to return to this apt in my next stay in London"
Promptness and overall communication with the host. The apt is very very nice and absurdly well located in London. Clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious.
What could be improved: I was aware of it, but the apt doesn't have an AC (as well as almost all locations in UK... but the high temp we had probably was the first time ever that London had).

"First rate location, large unit for a family of 4."
The location was optimal, particularly for reaching major tourist sites. The unit is in a lively area. It was perfect for catching a show. The property management checked in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed.
What could be improved: Very small things as noted in other reviews. There were some stains on the carpet, understandable for a rental unit. There was some slight noise from the bar on the first floor, but it quieted down by about 9 AM and did not affect our comfort nor sleep.

"Great stay"
Perfect location. The apartment 4 is spacious and renovated with good taste. Very well equipped, clean and easy to access. Perfect communication with the host. Perfect for our family.

"Great flat in the Covent Garden area"
The location of this flat was spectacular and within steps to Covent Garden, Soho, and the theater district. The building is very secure and locks after entry, but there is no door attendant. We felt safe at all times. The flat is on the second floor and there is a lift.
There is a festive pub in the alley just steps from the hosts building and they have lovely snacks, charcuterie, cheese plates, etc. A very friendly place. There are many coffee shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. No car hire is needed for this area. Also within 5 mins of the subway which was clean and safe.
The property was spacious and clean with a well appointed kitchen; fridge, oven, Nespresso machine (with pods & sugar) dishwasher, microwave, dishes, utensils (and plastic kid-appropriate dishes, utensils) etc. We appreciated the extra space and kitchen table to dine on which can seat up to 6 people.
The flat we rented had 1BR, 1Bath with tons of storage in the bedroom and a queen-sized bed. The bed was very comfortable with medium firmness. The sheets were high quality; fresh and crisp. My daughter slept on the pull-out sofa bed and said it was very comfortable.
For women: if steam ruins your hairstyling plans, they smartly supplied a portable mirror on a stand so I moved it where I could use a curling iron and mirror at the same time and it worked perfectly. The bathroom does become very steamy, so I simply packed up my makeup kit and moved to the living room.
Two-family sharing: I think it depends on how close you are with the other family but the bed/bath area can be closed off from the kitchen/dining area for more privacy, changing, loud snoring, etc.
The internet was a bit spotty at times, however it worked enough to get directions and for my daughter to do her homework, but if you have an important conference call you may need a backup plan.
The hosts were lovely to work with and checked in appropriately; not too seldom or too often.
What could be improved: Everything was great.

"Large, spacious, central location!"
We liked how spacious the apartment was, considering the location. The pull out beds were VERY comfortable! It would be a bit tight if there were two people on the pull out beds, unless you do not mind sleeping close to someone. The place had three fans, which helped since it was warmer than usual this time of year. The location was central and walk able to different places. We would highly recommend staying here!
What could be improved: The only confusion we had was using the shower. There are multiple shower heads and knobs.
