The building itself has this understated elegance that feels more like stumbling upon a well-kept secret than checking into your typical tourist accommodation.

Look, Tottenham isn’t where most visitors picture themselves staying, but hear me out. This area has been quietly transforming, especially around the new stadium, and you’re actually in a pretty sweet spot here. You’ve got authentic London life happening around you — proper pubs, Caribbean food that’ll knock your socks off, and none of the inflated tourist prices you’ll find in Zone 1. The transport links are solid too; you can be in central London faster than you think.
What Makes It Different
This place operates as a unique boutique hotel without the official star ratings, which I mean — sometimes those ratings don’t tell the whole story anyway. Each room feels individually designed rather than cookie-cutter corporate. The velvet theme runs throughout (hence the name), but it’s done tastefully, not like some overdone boudoir situation you might be imagining.

"Superb"
Easy to find. 5 minutes to the metro station. Nearby is a large shopping center and grocery stores. The house has a kitchen, so you can heat up or cook food. The owner is very responsive and always available.

"Comfortable, convenient and good value!"
The Tottenham Velvet Suites in London was a great choice! The room was lovely and warm, clean, and spacious. I appreciated having my own shelf in the fridge and cupboard in the kitchen. The location was very convenient, just a couple of minutes from the station with easy access to Stansted Airport.
What could be improved: On the second night there was some guest noise in the early hours of the morning, but the host handled it promptly and reported the issue to Booking.com. This was a minor point and didn’t affect the fact that I really enjoyed my stay.

"Perfect stay with money/comfort balance"
Perfect location if you are traveling from Stansted Airport! The room and facilities were very clean, quiet neighborhood, very welcoming and nice manager with great communication.

Location is extremely convenient. A great option if you’re looking to just put your head down during your stay. Ideal for any event in Tottenham and surrounding areas like Islington. Bathroom and living spaces are shared but kept in good order and handy if you plan on using the kitchen area. Friendly neighbours on the first day helped us to correctly locate the property (we struggled for a small bit, as it looks like all the surrounding properties in the area, but not much time was lost). Asda across the road open till midnight and food options nearby for very early mornings too. Before we arrived another property cancelled on us. This location was booked 6 days before arrival and was still extremely affordable for two. You sim play cannot go wrong with this place. Staff contracted prior to arrival on WhatsApp and gave all information required. Very helpful.
What could be improved: If you’re looking for serious comfort, it’s not perfect, but it ticks every box for any traveller looking for rest. Generally it’s still clean and handy. No complaints after that.

"Comfortable very clean property in an excellent location ."
The property is in an excellent location close to Tottenham Hake station . Victoria line gets you into city fast. Also you can get the Stanstead train from this station .
The property is very clean , newly painted . Well equipped kitchen . The host is a very friendly young man .
What could be improved: Hard to find as there is no signage to tell you it’s Eustace Crescent .

"Brilliant, would recommend"
Absolutely fantastic location a stones throw from the Victoria line, so close to food and retail shops, your own section of the fridge, big bed, natural light and a TV. We stayed for two weeks and were very comfortable and will stay again if in London.
What could be improved: Could have used a hand towel or paper towels in the bathrooms

"Superb"
Well actually I didn't stay at this place cause it had some heating problem. First 2 night I stayed in some other apartment which is not owned by this owner, well for just a sleeping there was okay cause we weren't there at all but facilities wasn't the best but okay. Third night was in owners place and its amazing and owner gave us to stay almost full night for free cause our flight was early in the morning so we didnt need to sleep on airport. Also he said I will get 50% extra if I come back again because of that problem.
What could be improved: I didn't like that I needed to change apartment just few hours before check in, but It wasn't owner problem I think, and first place wasn't that good but owner did everything, so its ok. I would recommend this owner :)

"Nice value for this money"
Very good location - only 30 minutes to the center. The room was very clean, cozy and smelled good. A special compliment to the owner of this place Mate for his hospitality. The kitchen has everything you need, coffee and tea for free. Also wanted to mention the bed - it was very very comfortable. I slept like a child! Really recommend this place.
What could be improved: WIFI almost didn't work last 2 days of my stay..it definitely needs to be fixed
