Tucked away on Harley Road in Camden, this apartment feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than your typical hotel experience. The building itself has that classic London charm — you know, the kind where you actually feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.
Location & Neighborhood
Camden is honestly one of those areas that gets better the more you explore it. You’re within walking distance of Regent’s Park, which I discovered makes for perfect morning runs, and the Camden Market buzz is close enough to enjoy but far enough that you won’t hear it at night. The Tube connections are solid too — I mean, you can get to central London spots without that tourist-trap feeling of staying right in the thick of things.
The Space Itself
What really sets this four-star place apart is how it actually functions as a proper flat. The kitchen isn’t just for show — it’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the local shops and cook something real. The room layout feels natural, not like someone crammed hotel furniture into an apartment space. There’s proper storage, decent wifi, and windows that actually open (which you’ll appreciate more than you think).
What Makes It Work
The 8.4 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be fancy — there’s no pretentious lobby or over-the-top service. Instead, you get reliability and comfort that actually improves your London experience. The parking situation is better than most places in this part of town, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car much. The local transport links are that good.

"Overall a good stay at a good location."
The house was situated in a good location. Kate, as the host was very responsive in replying to queries asap even though she was travelling overseas. The place is at a quiet location but within he city fringe.
What could be improved: Some items were dated but they are still functional. The kettle probably needs changing as there are a lot of lime deposits. The heating system was intermittent and not fully functional. Good thing there was the backup heater & the host really tried her best to resolve the problem during the New Year Eve season.

"Cosy unit in good location."
Enjoyed our week in London. Cosy unit in good location near mini mart, train, buses and good coffee at Core in Leisure Centre. Easy walk to Primrose Hill and surrounding areas. Easy access up a few stairs into unit block and it was always nice to come back to a warm unit!
What could be improved: Good to note there’s no microwave and limited cooking pans. Shower has low pressure and is sensitive to adjust but once sorted was ok.

"Very cozy and nice apartment in great location."
It is a very nice and cozy apartment, with everything you need during even a long stay with the family. The place has two comfortable bedrooms and an extra place to sleep in the living room. The neighborhood is very calm and safe. Close to the flat is the school as well as a grocery shop and bus stop.
What could be improved: Minor issues like shower without headphone, lack of a microwave in the kitchen, and creaking floor. I hope the neighbors below will forgive us ;) Sometimes it was hard to set the proper water temperature under the shower (it was either cold or hot but then the water stream was low) but if somebody prefers a bathtub then the issue doesn't matter

"Great family flat and wonderful host"
Long story short - a home away from home.
Location:
Only 400m from tube, just around a corner from the city noise you enter a quiet street and find an English-style building (stone white and red brick) hiding an 80sq m flat. You dont worry about stairs since it's at perfect hightened 0 level.
Flat:
Pictures in the ad actualy represent the reality. Living room with a couch and additional pull out chair, table more than big enough for 4 and an electric piano under the window.
There are 2 normal sized bedrooms (each for 2), bathroom and kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances and little things a family with children could need. Imagine it and it's probably there. If it's not, the incredibly kind owner is ready to help.
Neighbourhood:
Kind neighbours, colourful, quiet and safe neighbourhood, no unpleasant surprises there either. A few minutes walk gets you to Primrose hill for a walk, run, view of the city. Small grocery store is 200m away.
For a family, 2nd zone of London is far enough from center to give you intimacy and close enough to get anywhere in no time.
All in all:
We've been in newer, bigger and smaller flats, but none of them had this charm - after long days of discovering the city, you come here and it feels like a home.

"Han estat quatre dies agradables gràcies a un allotjament comfortable i ben comunicat."
La disponibilitat i amabilitat dels amfitrions i la bona comunicació amb la ciutat. És un apartament acollidor en una zona molt tranquil·la, amb supermercats a la vora i a pocs minuts d'una estació de metro. Es pot anar a peu al mercat de Camden.
What could be improved: Que a la cuina no hi hagi microones i que la dutxa costa de regular. També ens hauria agradat informació sobre la recollida selectiva de brossa.
