The apartment feels expansive in a way that most London accommodations simply don’t, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the city like living artwork. The open-plan layout works brilliantly here, with a fully equipped kitchen that’s actually usable (rare in London, trust me) and living areas that flow naturally into each other. I spent way more time than expected just watching the city change colors at sunset from that massive sofa.

Location and Getting Around

Brixton gets unfairly written off by some tourists, but honestly, you’re missing out if you avoid this area. The Tube connections are solid — Brixton station is walkable, and you can reach central London in about 20 minutes. What I loved though was the local scene right on your doorstep. Pop Brixton is just down the road with its shipping container food scene, and the market on Electric Avenue brings this amazing energy that you just don’t get in Zone 1. Plus, parking here is actually manageable compared to central London madness.
