Sunny 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Apartment in Central London
First Impressions
Walking up to Sunny 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Apartment in Central London on Warwick Road, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a self-catering place in this part of London. But you know what? This four-star apartment completely surprised me. The building itself has that classic Victorian charm you see everywhere in Kensington, but once you’re inside, it’s been thoughtfully updated without losing its character.
Location & Getting Around
The Earl’s Court area gets overlooked sometimes, but I actually think it’s one of the better spots to stay in London — especially if you want to feel like you’re living here rather than just visiting. Earl’s Court tube station is literally a three-minute walk, which means you’re connected to the District and Piccadilly lines. I mean, you can be in Covent Garden in about fifteen minutes, or catch the Piccadilly line straight to Heathrow when it’s time to leave.
The Space
What struck me most was how much natural light floods the main living area — hence the “sunny” in the name, I suppose. The kitchen is properly equipped, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get in London rentals. There’s actually space to cook a real meal if you want to save money or just fancy staying in. Both bedrooms are decent sizes (by London standards anyway), and having two full bathrooms is honestly a game-changer when you’re traveling with friends or family.
Neighborhood Feel
The stretch of Warwick Road where you’ll be staying has this nice mix of local cafés and proper pubs that haven’t been completely touristified yet. There’s a Tesco Express about two blocks down for groceries, and if you walk toward Earl’s Court Road, you’ll find everything from Lebanese takeaway to traditional fish and chips. Kensington Gardens is close enough for morning runs, though I’ll be honest — I mostly used it as a shortcut to get to the museums in South Kensington.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with fancy amenities or over-the-top service, but that’s not really the point. What you get is a comfortable, well-located base that feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical tourist accommodation. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me — it’s the kind of spot that just works without any drama. Plus, having your own space means you can actually relax in the evenings instead of hanging around a hotel lobby.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
