Shepherd’s Bush might not be the first area tourists think of, but that’s actually part of its appeal. You’re close to Westfield if you need shopping, and the transport links are solid — the Central line gets you into Oxford Circus in about 15 minutes. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that I really appreciate; there are proper local pubs and decent takeaway spots that aren’t tourist traps. Plus, you can walk to Holland Park when you want some greenery.
Practical Considerations
The room setup works well for couples or even friends traveling together — there’s enough space that you’re not constantly bumping into each other. I mean, it’s London, so don’t expect palatial dimensions, but it’s comfortable. The bathroom is modern and the shower actually has decent pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in London accommodations). Parking can be a bit tricky in the area, so if you’re driving, definitely check the street restrictions.

Good location with tube and buses very close. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Quiet location. We are a family of 3 and this accommodation offered enough space for us. The outdoor area good too.
What could be improved: The shower over the bath awkward, would be better if there was a holder for the shower head and a shower curtain.
Would have also been useful to have tea/coffee provided for a drink on arrival.

The stay started with a greeting from Mo who was friendly and accomodating

The flat was styled nicely
What could be improved: The dining table was a bit small. But we had outside when it was fine.

The property is amazing
What could be improved: The stairs are a bit of a health hazard and the garden maintenance would have been better if we had the maintenance of the garden that would have better earlier as it was done at the end of my stay

comfort , stulish, access, communication, could have easily stayed longer here !
What could be improved: The handheld shower was efficient and easy to use but a small shower attachment to the wall would have been covenient. Not a dislike, more of a design suggestion

"This place could have been a lovely retreat in London, instead it was stressful dealing with property staff to take acti"
Loved the outdoor dining table and courtyard on two levels.
What could be improved: The shower facilities, we’re so old fashioned. It was impossible to have a normal shower. The shower was a hand held device, that you flick between bath tap and shower faucet. There wasn’t enough pressure and you couldn’t mix the water to the right temperature. The problem became progressively worse. I reported it, but resolution came too late, on our last night, and even then it was barely satisfactory. It actually spoilt our time in London, never feeling refreshed. In future, I will look very carefully at the property photos to see what type of shower facilities are provided. As well when we checked in there was lots of garbage in front of the bedroom window, presumably left by previous guests. Again action over this matter wasn’t prompt.

"Great place"
Near station, grocery stores, restaurants. The location is great. Just the right size for a solo traveler or couple. Shopping center is near. Was very clean and tidy. Plenty of dishes and towels.
What could be improved: I was going to extend my stay for another night. Altido was going to charge me an additional 232 GBP which is more per night than I had paid for the previous nights.

"It's okay for a few day stay."
It was located next to shepherds bush underground. The bedroom was magnificent. The bed comfy with plenty of space. There were enough pots, pans, utensils, dinner wear. Cute place.
What could be improved: The washer leaked. The internet was in and out. There were no glasses to drink out of .. only tea cups.There was no lock box to put the key in. I felt like I was fighting to keep it warm in the house. I would turn it up to get warm but for some reason the thermostat would turn itself back down to 15c. That is to cold for my liking. There was a rip on the sofa arm. ( which honestly isn't a big deal).

"Mouldy awful place"
The place exists and is in a good location
What could be improved: The place is waterlogged and covered in mould and mildew. The paint is peeling from the walls, the bathtub is covered in rotting wood, there are black patches of mould all around the sink. It's gross and unsafe. I had a serious allergic reaction from the stay.
Also the host was multiple hours late to the property.

"Acceptable"
Location
What could be improved: Lack of maintenance, privacy and climatization. There is a hidden device that drops dow the temperature to 14°c at night on the living room and even less on the bedroom which is freezing cold. The proprietary took the oven away during our stay. Entered the house many times without previous notice invading our privacy. No microwave. We presented a claim and a 20% refund was done.
