Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Studio flat in Fitzrovia, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a studio setup on Goodge Street. But you know what? This four-star place completely changed my mind about London studio stays. The space feels way more generous than you’d imagine, and there’s something refreshingly honest about how it’s set up â no pretending to be something it’s not, just a really well-thought-out apartment that actually works.
Location & Neighborhood
Fitzrovia is one of those London neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often miss, tucked between the chaos of Oxford Street and the academic buzz of Bloomsbury. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Goodge Street station, which puts you on the Northern line â that’s your direct shot to Camden, the City, or south London without any fuss. What I really appreciated was how the street itself feels residential despite being so central, with those classic Georgian facades and the kind of local pub (The Fitzroy Tavern) where writers have been drinking for decades.
The Space
The studio layout actually surprised me â whoever designed this knew what they were doing. The kitchenette doesn’t feel like an afterthought; it’s got proper counter space and a decent-sized fridge, plus all the basics if you want to grab groceries from the Waitrose around the corner. The room flows well, with the sleeping area cleverly separated from the living space without feeling cramped. Large windows face onto Goodge Street, so you get plenty of natural light during the day, though I’d recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper â it’s London, after all.
Neighborhood Dining
This is where staying in Fitzrovia really pays off. Charlotte Street is basically your backyard, and it’s packed with places that aren’t just tourist traps. Roka for Japanese (if you’re feeling fancy), or honestly, just wander down to Fitzroy Square and you’ll stumble across cafĂ©s and wine bars that feel genuinely local. There’s also a brilliant little Middle Eastern restaurant called Maroush that’s been there forever â the kind of place where you’ll end up chatting with whoever’s at the next table.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t about fancy amenities or having someone carry your bags (though the 8.9 rating speaks for itself). What works here is the combination of being genuinely central without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist bubble. You can walk to the British Museum in fifteen minutes, hit Oxford Street when you need to, but retreat to this quieter corner when London starts feeling overwhelming. The flat gives you enough space to actually live a bit rather than just crash, and that kitchenette means you’re not forced to eat out every single meal â which, let’s be honest, your wallet will thank you for in this city.

"I was very pleased with my choice of accommodation in London."
It was a beautiful, stylish and roomy flat located in a perfect location. The owner Hilla was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay.
What could be improved: There is no lift, which is common for this kind of historic building.

"Lovely apartment. Great location."
The apartment was really nice. The decor was lovely, and the bed was super comfy!
Great location! Perfect for where we needed to be, and there's a 24-hour parking lot not too far away.
Hella, the owner, kept in touch and was really helpful and communicated access instructions well, and timely.
We'd stay here again, for sure! đ
What could be improved: As it was hotter than the sun on the day we stayedđ„”đ„”, being up on the 4th floor with (no lift) all the stairs wasn't greatđ„”đ
. But, once up in the apartment, it was worth the trekđđ«

"Perfect weekend stay in heart of London"
Fantastic location, spotlessly clean and everything you could need, great communication with host, very accommodating,
What could be improved: I would suggest / advise maybe an additional mirror as the only mirror is the one in the bathroom which was a bit difficult at times when getting ready/using hair dryer etc but other than that great.

"We enjoyed our stay very much, all expectations was met! Thank you!"
Itâs a very nice, tidy, cosy little studio! Nicely decorated, and has everything needed for holiday stay. I stayed with two of my daughters, one 19 and the other is 8, we used sofa bed, which was very handy! At the end of the holiday my younger daughter said to the question âwhat she most liked in London?â - cosy flat! đ The location is very good, itâs few blocks to the Oxford street and actually we walked all the way to the china town, Big Ben and etc. would very much recommend! Thank you for hosting us we had an amazing time!
What could be improved: Two things I would mention:
itâs top floor, so would need to climb 4 floors up, not suitable for people with limited moving abilities, but didnât bother us much!
there is pub under windows across the road, when itâs busy itâs a bit noisy, but at the end of the day we were soooo tired so didnât really care!

"Lovely apartment in Central London"
Stayed here for the weekend, and I highly recommend this lovely apartment! Itâs brand new, and you can see that every tiny detail has been thoughtfully considered. Just like in the pictures.
I had a wonderful time and found it incredibly comfortable. Compared to the very small hotel rooms in Central London, I found it much more convenient to stay in an apartment, where you get more space and a enjoy a private kitchen.
Hilla, the host, is exceptionally caring and very responsive. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant.
The location is fantasticâsituated in Central London in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Street, 20 minutes to Trafalgar Square, and close to everything. All major landmarks are within walking distance, making this an ideal spot for exploring the city. For those who prefer public transport, buses and underground stations are nearby, offering excellent connectivity for venturing further. The street itself is charming, lined with shops, restaurants, and a great atmosphere.
The apartment is spotless, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you might need. The fully stocked kitchen includes it all: nice dishes, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, stovetop, washing machine, and dishwasher. There is heating and a fan, and you can open the windows as well for some fresh air. Hairdryer, iron, and other essentialsâall new and ready to use.
The check-in instructions were very clear and straightforward. To reach the apartment, youâll need to climb four flights of stairs, but I managed easily by dividing my luggage into two trips.
I enjoyed every moment, and would love to return next time I'm in London.

"Very good"
Location is fantastic, studio has everything you would want and really nice bed to reload after a busy day. Would highly recommend.
What could be improved: It got a bit chilly inside when the night was below 0 outside and the shower, although nice and warm could have been a bit stronger.

"Very nice and equipped studio, host was very kind and available for information and requests."
Very nice studio flat. A lot of light and air, very well equipped, clean. Perfect location.
What could be improved: The access at the 4th floor and the condition of the building stairs (obviously not in responsibility of the studio flat management)
