Overview
First Impressions
The Studio Apartment Sleeps 2 – Kentish Town NWLondon sits on Highgate Road in a classic Victorian terrace that’s been smartly converted into modern accommodations. I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but don’t let that put you off. This four-star place has character, and you can tell someone actually cares about the details here.
Location & Neighborhood
Kentish Town isn’t the flashiest part of London, but that’s exactly why I like it. You’re close enough to Camden’s chaos (about a 10-minute walk) but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The Kentish Town West Overground station is practically around the corner, which means you can reach central London in under 20 minutes. There’s also this brilliant little Turkish place called Zara down the road that does proper breakfast — locals queue up there every morning.
The Space
Walking into the apartment, you immediately notice how they’ve made smart use of every inch. The room combines sleeping and living areas without feeling cramped, and there’s actually a proper kitchenette tucked into one corner with everything you need — fridge, hob, even a decent coffee machine. The bed is comfortable (I mean really comfortable, not just hotel-speak comfortable), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly.
What Makes It Work
The thing about this place is that it feels like someone’s home, not a sterile rental. There are books on the shelves you might actually want to read, and the WiFi is fast enough that I managed to work from here without any drama. The heating works brilliantly — which honestly matters more than you’d think in a London winter. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in London, though I’d recommend sticking to public transport.
Why Guests Love It
You know what guests keep mentioning? The independence factor. You get your own front door key, you can come and go as you please, and there’s no awkward small talk with reception staff when you stumble in after a night out in Camden. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting the space and freedom of an apartment with the reliability of a hotel-standard setup. It’s perfect for couples who want to experience London like locals rather than tourists — even if it’s just for a few days.

"Great stay with a fantastic host!"
Fantastic host, very friendly and easy to reach. She even left a birthday card for me! Everything is there: coffee machine, pots and pans, herbs, kitchen equipment, … The directions were also clearly communicated.
What could be improved: During our stay the nearest underground station was closed. This is due to works and there were also strikes, so not an issue when the works are done. There is also a bus stop in front of the door.

"A beautiful tucked away little studio just outside central London in Kentish Town was a brilliant place to stay! Rustic"
coffee machine/ fully kitted kitchen
location
welcome note <3
rustic homely vibes
What could be improved: no plug sockets near the bed so couldn’t charge laptop/phones in bed sadly!
remembering the code everytime to use the toilet would be easier using a key lock instead of code

"Excellent"
I liked the fact that we could take care of ourselves. It is not far to the subway station. The bus line 88 stops right outside the front door. Supermarkets like Lidl are 15 minutes down the road. There are pubs and Parliament Hill is not far. Everything was there, coffee and tea were provided when we arrived. Actually, all you needed was your toothbrush and toothpaste.
The landlady is accommodating, pleasant and friendly.
What could be improved: Little things, like mixer taps at the sink, which I know from Germany.

"Lovely flat in northwest London"
A nice cozy little flat with everything needed for living comfortably, especially for an extended period of time. Suzanne was super friendly and always available if I had any questions. The location is excellent with many restaurants and shops within a ten minute walk.
What could be improved: Not a major issue, but be aware that the dwelling is old and it trembles any time a large truck drives past. This was actually quite startling at first, but I got used to it by the second day.

"Great location, convenient public transportation, small but well equipped studio."
Location is great, Tube stations and many markets nearby within 7-10 min walk. Bus stop right in front of the property. Studio is small but with well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer/ dishwasher, coffee machine, etc.
What could be improved: Toilet is outside the studio (though not a shared one). Interior is kind of worn out.
