Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to the London Bridge 3 Bedroom House with reception room, office and private garden on Pilgrimage Street, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a four-star house rental in this part of London. But stepping through that front door — wow, it’s like finding a proper London home that actually wants you there. The reception room hits you immediately with these gorgeous period features, and you can tell someone put real thought into making this feel like a home rather than just another rental property.
The Space That Surprises
Here’s what gets me about this place — it’s got three proper bedrooms, but it’s that office space that really makes it special for anyone working remotely or planning a longer stay. I mean, how many London rentals actually give you a dedicated workspace that doesn’t involve hunching over a tiny desk? The layout flows naturally too, with the reception room connecting everything without making the house feel chopped up like so many Victorian conversions do.
Location and Neighborhood
Southwark isn’t the flashiest area, but that’s honestly part of its charm — you’re right in the thick of real London life here. Borough Market is basically around the corner (and trust me, that’s dangerous for your wallet but amazing for your taste buds), and you can walk to London Bridge station in about five minutes. The Shard looms overhead, but somehow Pilgrimage Street manages to feel tucked away from all that tourist chaos.
The Garden That Seals the Deal
You know what you don’t expect to find in central London? A proper private garden where you can actually sit outside with your morning coffee without feeling like you’re on display. It’s not huge, but it’s genuinely private and surprisingly peaceful considering you’re surrounded by one of the world’s busiest cities. On decent weather days, this little outdoor space transforms the whole experience from “nice London rental” to “I could actually live here.”
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here a night or two. It’s the kind of place that works for families who need space to spread out, business travelers who want a proper home base, or anyone who’s tired of cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase. The house manages to feel both authentically London and genuinely comfortable — which, if you’ve done much house hunting or rental searching in this city, you’ll know is no small feat.

"Such a pleasant stay"
Great little house, really nice place and the owner was so nice.
What could be improved: For a long stay, a bit difficult to share only one bathroom for 5 people, but that’s really not that big of a deal!

"Beyond expectations and highy recommend"
The house was fantastic, ideal for a family or small group. The house has been lovingly fitted out and furnished and feels like home from home. All three double rooms are a good size. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious, clean and perfect if you want to settle in and self cater.
The location is ideal with a short walk to either borough Station or London Bridge Station giving easy access to the rest of the city and all it has to offer.
There is a great local pub just around the corner, a short walk away there are some great independent shops and cafes.
The service from the host was exceptional, friendly and helpful messages, suggestions of local places to visit, I am 100% confident that if we had any issues they would have been resolved quickly, but pleased to say the whole stay and experience was perfect.
I would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back to stay again soon. A special thankyou to Dagmara.

"Charming and spacious in a fantastic location."
Fantastic location in central London, close to the metro. Huge, gorgeous house that catered well for our family of four (kids 17 & 20). Everything you could possibly need is provided and hosts were so helpful providing lots of information about the area.
What could be improved: Loved everything.

"Perfect home base for exploring London"
Perfect home base for exploring London. Walking distance from all the hustle and bustle, yet in a surprisingly quiet and cozy neighborhood. It really didn’t take long for us to feel at home. Tesco market, pub, and several dining options a short stroll away. We’ll definitely try to book it again our next time in London
What could be improved: We stayed during an unusual heatwave, so we would have preferred some A/C, but it really wasn’t that much of an issue. There are plenty of windows to open, and with the cross breeze, we slept comfortably.

"Great place, in a great location, very comfortable - exceeded our expectations!"
The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, nicely maintained, clean, and had a wonderful home feeling.
What could be improved: It would’ve been great to have a second full bathroom, but this was expected upon our arrival - and we just took a little extra time to get ready since it was a group of 6.

The location is close to the city center, making it an ideal place to stay when visiting London. I arrived late at night, but I felt completely safe in the area.
The accommodation was well-organized and equipped with almost everything I needed.
There were some minor issues, but the host was very receptive to my feedback and assured me they would be addressed. I believe future guests won’t experience even the smallest inconvenience.
