Overview
First Impressions
StayCozy at King’s Cross sits on a quiet stretch of Camley Street that honestly feels worlds away from the chaos you’d expect near one of London’s busiest stations. I mean, when I first walked up to this four-star property, I was genuinely surprised by how peaceful it felt — you can barely hear the trains, and there’s this lovely tree-lined street that makes you forget you’re in the heart of the city.
Location & Neighborhood
What really struck me about the location is how it perfectly balances accessibility with tranquility. You’re literally a five-minute walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras, which means the Eurostar, six Tube lines, and connections to pretty much everywhere. But here’s the thing — Camden’s residential side has this completely different vibe from the tourist-packed markets. I loved wandering down to Regent’s Canal in the morning; there’s actually a nature reserve right around the corner that most visitors never discover.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Clean lines, quality bedding, and — this matters more than you’d think — proper blackout curtains that actually work. The bathroom was compact but well-planned, with a rainfall shower that had excellent pressure. You know what impressed me most? The little touches like USB charging ports right by the bedside and a proper workspace if you need to get things done.
Practical Comforts
There’s no full restaurant on-site, but they’ve got a decent breakfast setup and honestly, you’re spoiled for choice in this neighborhood anyway. The staff recommended this brilliant little café on York Way that does proper flat whites, and they were absolutely right. Parking isn’t provided, but with King’s Cross connections right there, you really don’t need a car — plus the local streets have those residents-only restrictions that would be a nightmare anyway.
Why Guests Love It
What sets StayCozy apart is exactly what the name suggests — it feels like staying somewhere comfortable rather than just passing through. The 9.1 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how everything just works smoothly. Whether you’re catching an early Eurostar, exploring Camden’s quieter corners, or using it as a base for London adventures, this place gets the balance right between being well-connected and genuinely restful.
Guest reviews
"Spacious, clean and comfortable - but internet and staff was a bit lacking."
The apartments have all the facilities you need. They are spacious, fairly clean, with great soundproofing. The location is very good, within 10 minutes of walking you can reach multiple relevant stations.
What could be improved: The internet was absolutely terrible, (in the few moments when you could actually connect to the WiFi, the speeds were around 2 Mbps) and the light fixtures are a bit confusing. The main issue was the disconnect between the reception and the company, the people at the reception made it sound like they are two separate entities, so they could not help us with much. Beware that they will not store your luggage for free (which is something that should absolutely be done).

"A great place to stay while visiting a great city."
The flat was modern, spacious and warm and in a great location, close to St. Pancras station. This suited us because we took the train from Gatwick directly to St. Pancras. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and there was a handy Coop convenience store at the foot of the next block of flats. The flat looked down on Regent's Canal and we walked along the tow path to Camden market - much better than taking the tube.
What could be improved: As is quite common, there were no luggage storage facilities for leaving your luggage prior to gaining entry. However there are left luggage facilities close to St. Pancras.

"Great alternative to a hotel for a family trip"
Clean comfortable and modern apartment perfect for a couple of nights away with the family. Good beds and facilities, including a washer dryer which was useful after a wet day sightseeing. Self catered meant we could make our own breakfast and get a food delivery. Easy walk to the canal basin, Coal Drops Yard and Camden Market.
What could be improved: Only negative is the location is still a bit marginal with lots of building going on. I'd be cautious about walking around there at night, so taxis are required.
