Overview
First Impressions
St Paul’s I Your Apartment sits right in the heart of the City of London, and honestly, the location hits you before anything else. You’re literally a stone’s throw from St Paul’s Cathedral — I mean, you can see the dome from some windows, which is pretty incredible for a four-star place. The building itself has that classic London feel without being stuffy, and the entrance gives you that “I’m staying somewhere proper” vibe without the intimidation factor of the mega-expensive hotels.
The Space and Setup
What I really appreciate about this place is that each apartment actually feels like you’re living in London rather than just visiting. The units come with a proper kitchen setup — not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation, but actual cooking space where you can make breakfast or heat up those Marks & Spencer ready meals (you know you will). The room layouts are thoughtfully done, with enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in someone’s closet.
Location Perks
Here’s the thing about staying in the City — weekdays it’s buzzing with office workers, but weekends it gets surprisingly quiet, which I actually loved. You can walk to the Millennium Bridge in about five minutes, and Borough Market is just across the Thames if you’re into the food scene. The Tube connections are solid too — Bank and St Paul’s stations are both walkable, so you’re not stuck with just one line if there are delays.
What Works Well
The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing, and they’re not overly chatty but helpful when you need something. Housekeeping is consistent without being intrusive — they get the balance right. I particularly liked that they stock the basics in the kitchen area, so you’re not immediately forced to hunt down salt and coffee on day one. The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the apartment, which sadly isn’t always a given in London.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in London, but it delivers on what matters most — a proper base in an unbeatable location where you can actually live a bit like a local. The 7.8 rating makes sense because while everything works well, it’s not going to blow you away with bells and whistles. What it does do is give you that “coming home” feeling after long days of sightseeing, with enough space and amenities to recharge properly. Plus, when you can walk to the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe, and half of historic London, you’re really not spending much time worrying about thread counts anyway.

"Great location, great apartment all at a great price"
Great location, good price, excellent apartment in a quiet location.
What could be improved: Wi-fi is hit and miss. Fine if sitting on the sofa, but don’t expect it to work in the bedroom.
The door code was unchanged from when I stayed 2 weeks earlier - something I highlighted to the apartment manager, who assured me it should have been changed.

"A peaceful stay in a comfortable bed."
The location was great for the purpose of my trip. Nearby eateries. The Black Friars train station was a 2 minute walk from the property. There’s security guarding nearby buildings, and ample locks. I felt safe. Yea bags & biscuits provided for a light snack was handy.

"Overall great stay. Wish i could stay longer"
The location, cleanliness, easy check in
What could be improved: Small defects eg the toilet seat is coming off(moves around a bit), mirror was broken. Bathroom light couldnt turn on in the beginning but customer service was quick to respond to help me figure out the fuse box.

"Calm and cheerful no complaints"
It was clean, well furnished and very accommodating to requests. The location was fantastic too.
What could be improved: The Apartment had a bath but no plug for it, which was a shame especially on the nights you really need one. There was an issue with our Early Check-in, the cleaner was still servicing the apartment and the same with Late Check-out. The cleaner came at 10 not 12 so possibly an issue with communication.

"A Great Place to Stay - Highly Recommend"
This was a GREAT place to stay at, a little tricky to find in the beginning ...but only because it was our first trip to London and weren't used to the road system in the UK. Otherwise the room itself exceeded our expectations, and it was centrally located to everything. We didn't need a car to do anything, we could either walk or take the "tube" with ease.
