Overview
First Impressions
Spacious Private Rooms Near Central London caught my attention mainly because of the name — they’re not kidding about the space part. When I first walked into my room, I actually did a double-take. You know how most London accommodations make you feel like you’re living in a shoebox? Well, this four-star place breaks that mold completely. The rooms genuinely feel generous, which is honestly rare for anything this close to the city center.
Location Matters
Being in Tower Hamlets puts you in this interesting spot where you’re close enough to everything but away from the tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to Brick Lane in about ten minutes, and the curry houses there — well, that’s a whole other conversation. The area’s got this authentic East London vibe that I actually prefer to staying right in Zone 1. Plus, the transport links are solid, so you’re never really far from anywhere you want to be.
The Room Experience
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create actual living space rather than just sleeping space. There’s room to spread out your stuff, move around without bumping into furniture, and honestly just breathe. The private setup means you’re not dealing with shared facilities, which — let’s be real — makes a huge difference when you’re trying to get ready in the morning. Everything feels clean and well-maintained, though it’s not trying to be fancy for fancy’s sake.
Neighborhood Character
The thing about this part of Tower Hamlets is that it feels like actual London rather than tourist London. There’s a proper mix of people living their regular lives, which I find way more interesting than staying somewhere sterile. You’ve got local pubs within walking distance, proper grocery stores, and that sense that you’re experiencing the city rather than just visiting it. The street food scene around here is actually incredible if you know where to look.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place works because it solves the main problem with London accommodation — space and location without breaking the bank. The 7.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not about bells and whistles; it’s about having a comfortable base that doesn’t feel cramped or overly touristy. For travelers who want to experience London rather than just tick boxes, this setup actually delivers on what matters most.

"The room is nice, small, everything you need is there (towels, hair dryer, iron). The mattress is very important for me"
location in the very center
What could be improved: In the morning we couldn't get into the shower, it wouldn't turn on🤷🏻♀️
They changed the code to our room's door without warning, so we had to wait for a response to get in.

"Very good"
Clean rooms and facilities, very convenient self check in instructions, convenient location, many bars/restaurants around!
What could be improved: Can hear everything what happens next door so comfort will depend on luck with next room and how loud neighbours. Take ear plugs!

"Great value for money, cute room, maybe an extra bathroom needed"
easy check in and check out, very clean
What could be improved: sharing one bathroom between 5 rooms was not great as had to wait a long time before it was vacant

"Really good stay"
The room is very cute—tiny, but really lovely. It has everything you might need: towels, a hairdryer, TV, desk, iron… and it’s incredibly clean.
The bathroom is also spotless.
The whole place is quiet and, most importantly, super central since it’s right by Aldgate East.
Highly recommended!
What could be improved: I’m giving it an 8 because there’s only one bathroom shared between several rooms, and many times you have to wait to take a shower or use it.
That said, the bathroom was really clean, and I appreciated the shower gel and shampoo provided.
Prices in London are generally very high, to be honest, but overall this was a good stay.

"Good"
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. There was a mini-fridge, micro-wave and kettle for making tea/coffee and quick meals. The location was perfect, right next to a tube station that takes us to the highlights of the city.
What could be improved: The number of showers/toilets per resident is low, especially considering they are in the same room (we can't use the toilets if someone is using the shower). Also, one shower had a low pressure issue and the temperature was always fluctuating from hot to boiling. Another shower had the dispenser for the shower gel broken, and the other one was empty. The third shower, I never managed to turn it on.
