Overview
First Impressions
When I first stumbled upon Spacious flat near Victoria and Warwick Square, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but it tells you everything you need to know. This four-star apartment sits right on Churton Street, and you know what? Sometimes the most straightforward places surprise you the most. The building itself has that classic Westminster feel without being stuffy about it.
Location That Actually Makes Sense
Here’s the thing about staying near Victoria — everyone thinks it’s just a transport hub, but this little pocket around Warwick Square is genuinely lovely. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Victoria Station, which sounds busy until you realize how handy it is for day trips to Brighton or quick hops to Gatwick. The square itself is one of those hidden gems that most tourists walk right past, with its garden center and that proper neighborhood feel you don’t expect in central London.
The Space Itself
The flat lives up to its “spacious” promise — I mean, by London standards, this place feels downright generous. The main room actually lets you spread out your stuff without playing furniture Tetris, and there’s a proper kitchen where you can make more than just tea and toast. What I really appreciated was having space to hang clothes and unpack properly, something you take for granted until you’re living out of a suitcase in a shoebox hotel room.
Neighborhood Discoveries
This area’s got character — there’s a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant called Viet Grill just around the corner that locals actually eat at, not just tourists. The little Tesco Express on Warwick Way becomes your best friend for grabbing breakfast bits or that bottle of wine you forgot to pick up earlier. And honestly, being able to walk to St. James’s Park in about ten minutes while feeling like you’re staying somewhere residential? That’s the sweet spot right there.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to win any design awards, but it nails the basics really well. You’ve got reliable WiFi, decent water pressure, and enough space to actually relax after a day of trudging around London’s pavements. The parking situation is typical Westminster — basically nonexistent — but with Victoria Station so close, you honestly don’t need a car anyway. It’s one of those places where you find yourself thinking “yeah, I could actually live here for a week” instead of just surviving it.

"Superb"
Great property.
What could be improved: A bit noisy. Roadworks during the day, pub across the road at night.

"It was really lovely and we would love to come back!"
We liked the possibility to check in later with the door code.
The flat is very pretty and cosy, you can really feel at home in it. It was also absolutely spotless. In the kitchen is everything you really need.
It's in a nice, lively neighbourhood, not far from the city centre. Public transport is close by.
What could be improved: The sofa bed in the living room is acceptable, but the mattress and springs are a bit worn.
It would have been easier and cheaper if we could have stored our luggage in the flat or in the hallway on the day of departure.

"Very good"
Warm apartment, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Staff very timely to respond to queries. Safe area. Nicely decorated. Electrician that came out to fix socket was very pleasant and professional.
What could be improved: Curtains in main bedroom too light and therefore flooded with sunlight too early. Shower flooded as there was an abundance of hair in the plughole that we had to clean out ! There are no chairs to sit out on the balcony.

"Pretty good"
The location was really good. There are several restaurants and grocery stores near by. Décor was well used but reasonably comfortable.
What could be improved: There are two pubs across the street. People were outside and it was loud until about 11. The neighbors complained to management multiple times that we were too loud but, it was not us. It was the people at the pub. Management apparently didnt believe us as the barged in unannounced at 9 p.m. demanding to check on the flat. When they saw there was nothing they left but we didnt appreciate the intrusion.

"Nice apartment but uncaring attitude"
The apartment itself is very nice, clean, well eqiped and the location is wonderful - local feel with cozy restaurants, pubs, shops.
What could be improved: Communicating is impersonal and at the times absurd, including ridiculous automated replies. Someone is always there and replying, sending long standatdized messages in polite but quite disinterested manner. Contradictory information about accessing the flat made our arrival day quite stressfull. Just shortly before the arrival it appeared that the entry is actually very simple - by the door code! Then why not to inform about it from the beginning instead of making the guest worried? Everything went well at the end but can not say that we felt welcome.

"Poor customer service, unenthusiastic host, poor amenities, well located, expensive property"
This was a great location. Many convenient shops, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and pubs. Easy walk to Victoria Station, theaters. Moderate but very pleasant walk to Parliament, Westminster Abbey. The kitchen had good appliances and utensils, kitchen supplies. Adequate space for a family of 4.
What could be improved: Unenthusiastic host with only cursory introduction to apartment. Most emphasis on the penalties we would face if something were done wrong (using additional bedding, not taking out trash properly or completing the EXTENSIVE list of chores to close the property). While the kitchen was nice, there were no "starter supplies" like small welcome basket. There was some instant coffee left by previous guest and a small supply of tea (suspect also left by prior guest). Given the high expense of this property, I expected better. No air conditioning as typical of London apt but given hot conditions, the provided fans were poor. Difficult windows to keep open at night - they wanted to close on themselves. Noted water stains of ceiling below the 2nd floor bathroom. Found out why on the 3rd of 5 days there when water came pouring through the ceiling onto some of our personal items in the living space on the 1st floor while shower was in use. No repairs able to be arranged during the remainder of our stay. They seemed much more concerned about me sending videos and photos of the problem than correcting the issue during our stay. So we went without a shower for 2 days. I guess we could have continued using the shower and put a bucket underneath the leak without regard to further property damage. As responsible guests we didn't. I felt that a reasonable compensation would be comping a night at least. Instead, a small refund of approximately 35% of one night's rate. I was only able to obtain this by eventually contacting Booking.com to mediate. The property company (ALTIDO) was not responsive in this matter. Eventually had to decide how much of my remaining vacation I wanted to spend on this and moved on. Given the high cost of this well located property, I expected a higher level of service, better amenities such as a welcome basket or starter supplies, and prompt attention to major property issues like the lack of a functional shower.
