Entire 3 Bedroom House in London – Canning Town, City Airport, London ExCel
First Impressions
When I first walked up to Entire 3 Bedroom House in London – Canning Town, City Airport, London ExCel, I’ll be honest — it didn’t look like much from the outside. Just a typical East London terraced house on Jutland Road. But you know what? That’s exactly what made it work so well for our group trip.
The Space
This four-star house rental actually surprised me with how spacious it felt inside. Each room had enough space for proper suitcases (not just weekend bags), and the three bedrooms meant we weren’t stepping over each other every morning. The living area flows nicely into the dining space, which honestly became our evening hangout spot for planning the next day’s adventures.
The kitchen deserves a mention — it’s not fancy, but it’s properly equipped. We made breakfast most mornings and even attempted a Sunday roast (with mixed results, but that’s on us). Having a washing machine was a game-changer for a week-long stay, especially since we were doing a lot of walking around the city.
Location Reality Check
Look, Canning Town isn’t trendy Shoreditch or polished Kensington, and I appreciated that. It’s a working neighborhood that’s been changing fast thanks to Crossrail. The Jubilee line station is about a 10-minute walk, which gets you to Westminster in 20 minutes — not bad at all.
What really sold me on the location was how close everything felt. London City Airport is practically next door if you’re flying in from Europe, and the ExCeL Centre is right there if you’re attending an event. The Royal Docks area has been getting some interesting cafés and pubs lately, though you’ll still want to venture into central London for proper dining.
Practical Stuff That Matters
The house comes with parking, which in London is honestly worth its weight in gold. Street parking around here can be hit-or-miss, so having a guaranteed spot saved us quite a bit of stress. WiFi worked fine for video calls back home, and the heating kept the place comfortable even during our chilly March visit.
One thing to know — this is a residential street, so it gets properly quiet at night. If you’re used to hotel amenities like room service or a front desk, this obviously isn’t that kind of stay. But for groups or families who want their own space, it works brilliantly.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider what this place actually offers. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just a solid, clean house in an area that’s becoming more connected to the rest of London every year. For the price point, especially compared to booking three separate hotel rooms in Zone 2, it’s genuinely good value. Plus, having your own front door key after a long day of sightseeing? That feeling never gets old.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
