You’re practically next door to Southall station, which gets you into central London in about 20 minutes on the Elizabeth line. I actually ended up using this as my base for a long weekend, and it was brilliant for day trips into the city. Plus, you’re surrounded by some of the most authentic Indian culture outside of India itself — the curry houses here put most West End places to shame.

The Space

The apartment itself is straightforward but thoughtfully set up for three people. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook — though honestly, with all the incredible food within walking distance, I barely used it except for morning coffee. The room layout works well, and while it’s not going to win any design awards, it’s comfortable and clean. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed despite being so close to the station.

I spent an entire evening just wandering through the shops and markets, picking up spices and sweets I’d never tried before.
