Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Royal Greenwich Hospitality on Azof Street, you’ll notice it sits quietly among the Georgian terraces — no flashy signage, just understated elegance. This four-star property has that boutique feel where they actually remember your name, and honestly, the 9.4 rating makes perfect sense once you step inside. The reception area feels more like a sophisticated drawing room than a typical hotel lobby.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot in Greenwich — you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cutty Sark, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear tour groups at dawn. The National Maritime Museum is right there, and if you fancy a proper walk, Greenwich Park stretches up the hill behind you. I mean, where else can you have breakfast and then climb to the Prime Meridian line before lunch? The DLR station is close enough that getting into central London takes about twenty minutes.
The Room Experience
The rooms here aren’t huge — this is London, after all — but they’re thoughtfully designed with deep blue accents and surprisingly comfortable beds. What struck me was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains (travelers know this matters), decent water pressure, and windows that actually open for fresh air. Each unit feels more like a well-appointed apartment than a standard hotel room, with enough space to properly unpack if you’re staying more than a night.
Dining & Amenities
The on-site restaurant serves solid British fare with a modern twist — their fish and chips actually rivals what you’ll find at the local gastropubs. Breakfast runs until 10 AM, which is reasonable, and they don’t rush you out. There’s no spa or fitness center, but honestly, with Greenwich Park as your backyard, you don’t really need a treadmill. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests figure out the area, which you don’t always find at larger properties.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Royal Greenwich Hospitality apart is how it balances being professional without feeling stuffy. You know what I noticed? They’ve managed to create that “local gem” feeling while still delivering the reliability you want from a quality hotel. The parking situation is limited (this is Greenwich, space is precious), but the location means you can easily explore on foot or hop on public transport. For the price point and the experience, it’s exactly what you’d hope for in this part of London — authentic, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming.

"Perfect stay in Greenwich"
Beautiful converted town house situated right between O2 and central Greenwich village. You can easily walk to either, and you can walk along the bank of Thames where you can catch Thames link / Uber Boat into central London.
Rooms were great, kitchen is great, safe and clean clearly run by people who care and value their customers business.

"I will be there again if I go to visit London."
This place is in a lovely area—easy to walk around and not far from the bus station, which makes reaching the tube very convenient. We could get to many places just by walking. I’m very happy with my 5-day trip.
Jo is a very kind and helpful person, and Dev is also very kind. I can see how sincere and caring they both are.
What could be improved: I hold no negative feelings toward this place.

Fully equipped kitchen, and I mean full :) coffee, milk, tee, cookies...
Our host Jo make our stay really great, thanks for electrical massager :)
House is in perfect place, quiet street and you can sleep like a baby, only 100m from restaurants, shop's, from walk path by river, from Greenwich park, 2 bus stops from O2 Arena...
We came from airport Stansted with coach to Stratford 1h drive, then Jubilee metro line 10min till North Greenwich (O2 arena) and from there with bus 422 or 188 just 7min or 3 bus station to apartment.
With Jubilee line you can be in London center in about 15min.
It's super easy and convenient.
Grocery shop around corner.
For sure I will came here again.
Jo thanks!

"I highly recommend this destination in Greenwich as the place to stay at a very reasonable price."
This is an exceptional boutique Hotel where nothing is beyond the host's ability to please all. I love the personal touch that Jo has created for everyone and her ability to bring everyone together around the hotel. The standard of hygiene is exceptional. The dedication to the room's cleanliness and small details are great. The bathroom is fantastic. The kitchen is great with the best cooking facilities for anyone to use, and a courtyard outside. It's a great place to stay, handy to the Thames, cutty Sark, markets and more. will be back on our next visit to stay if there is room!
What could be improved: I could find nothing wrong with this place. Absolutely loved it.

"Superb"
The facilities were lovely. Jo was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: A sign on the room door saying there was a small step up would have saved me a fall and a bloody toe. Also not being able to get Ubers in a timely manner put a small damper on my vacation.
