Overview
First Impressions
Quaint Homes in Chelsea sits tucked away on Adrian Mews, one of those charming cobbled streets that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden corner of old London. Honestly, finding it feels a bit like discovering a secret — which is exactly what makes this four-star property so appealing. The building itself has that classic mews house character, with its neat facade and intimate scale that’s worlds away from your typical hotel experience.
The Apartment Experience
What you’re getting here isn’t a traditional hotel room — it’s more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment in one of London’s poshest neighborhoods. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re tired of eating out every meal. The spaces feel genuinely homey, with thoughtful touches that suggest someone actually cares about your comfort rather than just checking boxes.
Kensington and Chelsea Vibes
The location is what really sells this place, though. You’re properly in Chelsea here — I mean, walk five minutes and you’ll hit the King’s Road with all its boutiques and cafes. The Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum are an easy stroll away, but you know what I love most? You can actually get a feel for how locals live in this part of town. There’s a lovely little pub around the corner, and the neighborhood has that relaxed residential feel that tourist-heavy areas often lack.
What Works and What Doesn’t
The service feels personal without being intrusive — they’ll sort you out when you need something but won’t hover. That said, with a 7.6 rating, it’s not perfect. Some guests mention the units can vary quite a bit in terms of size and condition, so it’s a bit of a lottery. The parking situation is typical London — basically nonexistent — so plan accordingly if you’re driving.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back is that authentic London living experience you get here. You’re not just visiting the city; you’re temporarily inhabiting it. The fact that you can pop to the local Waitrose, cook breakfast in your own space, then wander over to Sloane Square for shopping makes it feel less like a tourist experience and more like a genuine stay. For families or longer visits, that flexibility is worth its weight in gold — even if the place isn’t the most polished hotel you’ll ever encounter.
Early hotels booking in London secures West End tickets, rooftop cocktail nights, and small-group afternoon tea sessions.

"Great value for money"
I chose the location because it was relatively close to main attarctions. There is a shop close by, restuarants too if one doesn't feel like handling cooking, and train/metro station within 10 min walking distance.
The owner was very nice to allow us to deposit the luggage inside before check in hour, as we had our arrival flight very early in the morning. Communcation was very easy and replies came fast.
For us, 2 adults and 2 kids, the place was sufficient because we were there to visit, we were gone all day, so we basically needed a place to take a shower and sleep.

"Good, easy to access, clean property."
Good amenities, good location, and plenty of space for the two of us staying. Clean and easy to find.
What could be improved: Make sure to read the additional information before booking this property; double check what the property requires for check in (I was asked for identity documents to be shared via email or WhatsApp prior to my stay which is somewhat unusual).

"Very likeable little home, top location in Chelsea."
Quaint is a very good name for this place, in a very authentic mews, sideways of a beautiful street in Chelsea.
We smiled every time we returned to this temporary home.
Top location with 3 Tube-stations within 1 km and Stamford Bridge even shorter distance.
What could be improved: We received the entry code too late, which was unnecessary and very annoying.
We (2 persons) enjoyed our stay very much, but we thought that staying here with 4 persons would seem to be a bit cramped.

"Exactly what we wanted. Close to lots of amenities and public transport links."
Extremely clean and well fitted out. Bedrooms were spacious and it was quiet at night.
What could be improved: Only slight downside is that bathroom is downstairs but that would be unavoidable given the layout of the house.

"Superb"
The flat was clean and presentable and looked just like the pictures shown. The kitchen cupboards and utensils were clean and was adequate for what we were looking for. Shower was good, beds were really comfortable. There was black out blinds and the street was quiet. The location was amazing. 10 mins walk to West Brompton tube station. 2 tubes and around 20 mins to most central attractions and to natural history museum, science centre etc. BBC earth is 15 mins away by foot. Wifi was good.
What could be improved: The stairs were steep and so not suitable for elderly but fine for us

Clean modern with a kitchen n table n 4 chairs and a sofa. Two beds n bathroom.
What could be improved: It has very steep quite challenging stairs to the two bedrooms and the bathroom is downstairs.
